A New Year

i cant believe it is already 2012 and january is already half over! i feel like time si flying by so fast!!!

Bauer is now 4 and a half months odl and he is so sticking cute! i love his giggles and screetches! i love all his big smiles and that he is shy! lol it is a change from jamison! Jamison is such a soical bug it s kind of fun to have a boy he is a bit shy and likes to hide in your neck when someone loves on him!!

Jamison is a blast it is hard to believe he is only 4 months away from being 3 yrs old! he says and does the funniest things and i love watching my two boys interact! Jamison can get bauer going like know one else can and you can tell how much jamison loves bauer and it is more then same the other way around!

Josh is still doing fed ex and i am so happy peak is over i miss seeing him in the holiday months but it is worth it! he loves what he does and every year when peak is over he spoils me! this time it was a new camera!!! i have never had a dlsr before and i am LOVING learning my new toy! i have already done a few friends pictures of their new babies and i keep getting more appt with friends! it is not going to become a profession but i am loving seeing the new babies and cuddling them! it is hard to see hwo tiny they are and think and try to remember how bauer and jamison were once that size!

since it is a new year we all make resolutions and mine this year is to be happy! i am a happy person but i have flaws in letting people get to me and allowing them to take over my mind with thewir negativity or their actions towards people or myself and my resolution is to be happy despite let them do whatever they so choose and to not let it affect me and my life. 2011 was a good year for us we welcomed the greatest addition to our family and are so blessed to have him but it was a hard year for me as well. it has beena stuggle for em not the let other affect my life and my emotions get the better of me. i ahve had alot of anger, sadness, and reseantment in my life and heart this past year and my resolution this year is to try and let everything go. let everything brush off me and not to allow others rudeness, self centeredness, and more affect me and my happiness. good luck to me!

other then that january has beena great month! we celebrated my 25th birthday i know i am young lol but i feel old! it is weird to sit and think about all that has changed in the last year from my birthday and try and think how much is going to change before my next birthday!@
we celebrated at tucanos as usual! it is the best place and we only go ton special occasions! we then came back to tooele and took the kids bowling! it was a blast! we had so much fun and jamison loved bowling he actual bowled so much better then we did i think the ramp helped him! lol

i guess we will se what february brings!!!

been way too long

It has been about 3 months plus since the last time we did a post sorry!

so it has been a whirlwind since Bauer entered our family! he is just as good of a baby as Jamison was! he has slept through at 4 weeks just like Jamison, he is the best eater too

September was fun we had family come and visit and it was so great to have josh's mom here to help with jamison and the transition to big brother and then my dad came to visit with carole and i love when my dad comes to stay i have a blast!!!!

October was super fun!!! we blessed Bauer and my dad traveled back again to not miss that special day! i had josh feed bauer right church to make sure he wasnt fussy during his blessing, but we forgot to burp him i guess in the hustle of it all and right before it was time to bless him he puked everywhere soaked his outfit and me!!! lol so as soon as he was blessed we did a quick outfit change. lol it was funny but sad at the same time! lol of course he did that in his blessing outfit!

Halloween i had so much fun making our family theme outfits! we were UP so Jamison was russle Bauer was Doug, I was Kevin and Josh was Mr. Frederickson! we had so much fun trunk or treating and walking main street this year Jamison understood was we were doing and loved to say trick or treat and get goodies!

Novem Flew by seriously we had thanksgiving up with Josh's family and it was funt o see everyone and the food of course was so good! i seriously cant blieve it is already december!
Christmas is just around the corner and i am not ready for it! lol i have many presents to get and things to do! on Wednesday Josh and i Celebrate our 4th anniversary i cant believe it has been 4 years already but at the same time it feels like we have been together much longer then that!

We celebrated early since it is mid week and December is super busy for Josh with Fed Ex! we went to olivegarden with the boys and had a good time our kids were so well behaved and then we went to temple square and walked around i love this time of the year!!!

Next up is Christmas we have my dad and carole coming here and i cant wait to see him again it has been only a month or two but it is too long! i wish we lived closer!!!

Now for some fun things about my boys!

Jamison
- is 2 and half now and wearing 4T clothes to 5T
-super tall!
- loves Elmo and trains
- talks up a storm
- loves his baby bauer and they can get going together it is so cute!
- now taking tumbling classes and LOVES them!!!

Bauer
- 3 and a half months old
-smiles like crazy and is such a happy baby
-sleeps so well!
- just hit 12 lbs lol he is our little guy
- eating rice cereal now and LOVES it! he gets so excited to eat it!
- loves his mommy he is my mommy's boy!
-laughs and giggles and coos all the time!

i will post more often lol but that is all i can think of right now!

we are so happy to introduce our little bundle of joy!

Bauer Jay Thornock
born August 30th at 4:10pm
6lbs 15 oz
19 1/2 inches long

so it has been a long time since i posted last so here is a summary of what happened. lol at 37 weeks we started doing non stress tests on Bauer each week my blood pressure had started to rise so we wanted to make sure he was ok. Every week he was fine! i was SLOWLY progressing finally at 39 weeks my dr was able to strip my membranes and in doing so he found out that Bauer had his hand up along the side of his head therefore stopping him from engaging further into my pelvis and stopping pretty much any dialation that could have accurred.
he restripped my membranes later that week to see if that would have helped and it didnt do anything, and bauer still had his hand up by his head.
i was so sad and discouraged and we began to talk about possiblilities of things we could do when in labor to try and move it.
we hit 40 weeks and i cried! i never thought i would go OVER my due date and i thought for sure this kid would NEVER come out! lol
we had a drs appt on monday the 29th and my blood pressure had gone way way up, my dr checked for any progress and i was effacing but not dialating anymore but because his hand was still there and my blood pressure was high he decided to induce me!
we went to the hospital at 9 pm that night to soften my cervix, the meds they gave me puts 30% of women into labor and luckily enough i was int hat group i was having contractions every 3 mins apart. in the morning about 6:30 am i got my epidural so that i wouldnt have to do pit without it since the dr had a c sectiont o do at 7:30

once the pit and epidural were in we went pretty fast, i started pit at 8 in the morning and my dr broke my water then. when he broke the water Bauer finally moved his hand!!! thanks heavens so we didnt have to have a c section.
it took a while for the dialation to start since he was still high. once we hit a 4 we FLEW! i went for a 4 to ready to push in an hour and 15 minutes!

we pushed for 30 mins and he was here! when he came out it was amazing, he looked just like jamison! it was like deja vu! i guess he was going to HUGE but when they weighed him josh and i were shocked!!
i mean jamison was 6 lbs 9oz and was 4 weeks early and this little guy was 5 days OVER due and was only 6lbs 15 oz! lol

He was perfect! it was amazing to not have a baby that has to go to the NICU! Josh's mom and Jamison were int he hall when he was born and when they were checking him out jamison was able to come in and i cried when they met it was so amazing to see our boys together at last!

i couldnt have asked for a better birth experience this time around! he came out tryign to eat the air! he was so ready to breastfeed! and with jamison i wasnt able to so it is amazing to be able to do it with Bauer.

since we have been home things are great! Jamison loves his little brother! he calls him "B" lol it is super cute! he loves to hug hima nd give him kisses and Bauer is just as good of a baby as jamison. he was fussy the first couple days because he was hungry and i couldnt give him anything lol cuz my milk hadnt come in yet. but once it did he is a changed baby he sleeps so well and is super cute to snuggle with!

we are so happy that everything went to so well this time around! and we have a gorgeous little boy again to play with! we are super blessed! life will never be the same with our boys here! =) but i couldnt be happier about it!

FULL TERM!!!!

finally we have made it to being full term! i cant begin to tell you how excited i am that we are 37 weeks and full term! it takes some of the worries away but like i told josh i will worry about this baby till he is in my arms! lol

we went to the drs appt on monday and it went well! the baby is going perfect! measuring perfect and has a healthy heartbeat.

we have been having blood pressure problems again this time around at least they are later in the pregnancy! my blood pressure was ont he high end of normal at my drs appt so we now are going to my dr on mondays and then doing non stress tests on thursdays.

they want to do the non stress tests ont he baby because before there is a real jump in your blood pressure to where you need ot take action the baby is already under stress so any sign of stress they will induce me! so we will see how it goes! the nice thing is a get to have a ultrasound weekly and get to see this little one!!!

also my dr said he will induce me on the 18th so at the most we will be pregnant 2 more weeks! so excited to see him!!! i cant wait till he gets here!

also i lost a pound at this appt i dont know how i did that but i am not complaining!

in other news yesterday was josh's bday and we had chicken enchiladas and cake! it was so nice to spend the time together as a family and it really is the last celebrationwe wil have before we are a family of 4!

35 weeks!

This pregnnancy has FLOWN by! i swear we were just finding out we were pregnant a few days ago!!!

we are 35 weeks tomorrow so exciting! we went to the dr yesterday! everything is perfect! i swear i get so nervous everytime i go cuz i am just waiting for somethng to chnage towards the bad liek they did with Jamison.

My weight gain is excellent still low! wahoo!! and i am measuring exactly on! whcih is great as well! with jamison we were always a week or two ahead so maybe this will be a normal sized baby. i am not saying jamison was big because he is was tiny but at 36 weeks being 6lbs 8 oz he was considered big for that age! lol

i am much tinier this time around! alot of people dont believe me when i say how far along i am and that i am having my second! it is so nice i can still fit in jeans from before i was pregnant so i dont feel like an elephant this time around!

this past week we finally finished the nursery! i have been paniced about it fo r alittle bit which josh thinks is hilarious but i dont know why i was so worried but we finally finished it!

we painted the walls and i put up vinyl dino prints since we are doing dinosaurs in his nursery, we put up the crib brought in the dresser and the chair and finally got the clothes washed and put away as well as the diapers and the bedding put in their spots! now we are fully ready for whenever he comes!

i have to pack my bag next week to put in the car since our hospital is 45 minutes away from tooele, i want to have it already inthe car just in case we are in salt lake city when we go into labor i dont want to have to come all the way back to tooele and then back to the hospital! lol and surprisingly josh agrees with me! lol he would normally say i am getting ready too soon but i am just scared in case the same happens again that happened with jamison.

onto other news jamison decided to pick a fight with a serving tray we have and the tray won!
josh came home one evening and was playing with jamison chasing him around the house like normal and having a ball! i was in the kitchen making dinner and josh went to go into the bedroom to change, but jamison thought he was chasing him again, so he booked it into the living room the next thing i heard was jamison wailing and i asked josh what happend and he said he didnt know he was in the bedroom we both came running into the living room to find jamison with a huge gash and goose egg across his nose and a gash under his eye! poor kiddo!
he ran face first into the tray corner! there is a perfect line from gash to gash where it hit him!
sad day! but i guess every kid gets banged up every now and then! after about 30 mins of cuddling and a otter pop later he was back to his old self and even smiled for me to get a picture of the damage! lol

the end of july is JAMMED full of stuff i swear every other day we are off doing something somewhere! i dont think we planned this very well! lol
but we are excited for the up coming weeks and cant wait to meet our new little addition to the family who we have been waiting for since we lost our first miscarriage in march of last year! so we are just tickled to meet him!!!

and jamison of course cant stop talking about grandma coming to stay! he is so excited for his grandma to be here! they have a blast everytime staying up late and dancing together! he just LOVES his grandma and i cant wait for her to come either! i have been wanting a bunch of her food lol so wahoo for a couple more weeks till she is here! =)

32 weeks!!!

wahoo we are offically 8 months along!!! i still cant believe the year is half way over! i swear it just started! i also cant believe how fast this pregnancy is going! it is like a whirlwind! i blink and i have lost 3 weeks or so it is crazy!

we go see out doctor again on friday for a check up! cant wait to hear the baby's heartbeat again! he is so active it is unbelieveable i can get any sleep! but i love every little nudge and kick and roll it is the best feeling ever!

some women either hate being pregnant or love it and i for one LOVE it! i dont know how to explain it, it isnt the issue of getting big or fat to me it is facinating how my body can grow and house a little person for 9 months!! it is amazing how my organs move and my body knows what to do to keep it healthy and growing! i dont know it is just to coolest feeling ever that i get this baby all to myself for 9 months! i dont have to share him i dont have to let others hold him or worry about where he is or how i am going to get jamison and me and the baby somewhere, he is always with me! it is like i have a lttle buddy that i can talk to and i swear he listens and responds granted they are nudges and kicks for answers but it is like i am never alone and i love that!

it may sound selfish i guess but oh well =)

we finally finished the basement office/ craft room! so excited we started moving stuff in yesterday but i work at a snail speed lol getting up and down those stairs rapidly in a row can causee some good contractions let me tell you! lol
so we will finish moving the stuff downstairs today then it is painting the baby's nursery and then getting his stuff ready for him. i know i have 2 months left and it seems a little premature to be getting his stuff ready but, i seriously dont want another unprepared birth! lol i want my house clean and ready not still in boxes where i am in the hospital and my poor husband is banding people together to unpack my house and put together the nursery! i want it to be all ready and this time i want to do it! =) dont think i am ungrateful because i am more grateful for that then anything but i am just a worrier lol i keep telling josh what if he cmoes early like Jamison and evertything and i start to panic and josh is always the one to say relax you are going full term he is coming at 40 weeks lol. so it is nice to have someone level headed!

but i will have more to report on friday about the baby and myself! i still havent gained any more weight from last appt but that can always change i have gotten bigger from ast appt to that is great i know he is growing but still i am so much smaller then i was with jamison!

i will post pictures of our new office as soon as it is done i cant wait!

Dinosaur musuem and 29 weeks

We were so lucky to spend yesterday ngiht with josh's Dad, brother Jared and Melissa and his Sister Kelli!
we had a good time and all the kids loved seeing each other! we went to in and out of course the stuff our faces and then we went to the world's largest dinosaur museum! it was so fun the kids were running around everywhere and it was amazing to see how tiny people really are!
they had so many things the kids could touch and play with and i am pretty sure Josh, Jared, and Kelli had more fun playing in the sand then the kids did! lol

it was so good catching up with Kelli and Jared since we dont see them very often! and it was nice to get out of the house since i have been working on orders like a mad woman! lol

Jamison was running everywhere and the museum! he was chasing dallas and then he would run from anthony it was so cute to see how much eh loves his cousins and seeing him with his boy cousins kind of makes me excited for him to be a big brother and rough house with his little brother!

i am now about 29 weeks and this pregnancy is going by so fast!! i cant believe i am almost in the single digit weeks! we went to our doctor today and baby boy is doing so great! he is head down which didnt suprise me because jamison was the same way. he is not floating head down but fully engaged in my pelvis so i am sure he will stay this way till he makes his debut! my blood pressure this time around is so much better! the doctor has no worries and my weight gain is very small compared to jamison! lol i have only gained 9 lbs this pregnancy so that is awesome! i have one more 4 week appt and then we are down to every 2 weeks! i cant believe it is already amost time for that!

we have been finishing the basement room for my craft and office and it should be done this weekend or next! josh has done an amazing job with everything he works so hard at work and then comes home and hammers up drywall and muds!! he is my hero!
we are getting everything ready for this baby to come we are goign to have his room ready at least a month before hand just in case! Jamison was a month early and this time i want to be prepared! lol not having to worry about my husband packing my hospital bag and other people unpacking my nursery! i want it all ready just in case! and josh is being so supportive in helping me get it ready! i mean i cant believe it is already a week done in June! this baby will be here before i know it!

so that is about all that is going on. i am still slammed with my business and it is so much fun! and Jamison is growing like a weed! last time we measured him he was over 3 feet tall! so we will have a tall boy on our hands that is for sure!

28 weeks!

we are finally in the third trimester and i cant believe that our little one will be here from 9 to 12 weeks!!! crazy!
so 2 weeks ago we celbrated Jamison's 2nd birthday! it was so fun we went to chuck e cheese with Jared and Melissa and Sam and Cassie josh's boss and had a blast! the kids playedtheir hearts out and Harrison did the ticket blaster for jamison since jamison was too small!
Chuck e cheese came and sang to jamison and they danced and it was the best! it was so nice ot get out and enjoy time with friends and family at a place where the kids can run around and yell and it is ok!!!!

Next monday we have another drs appt! super excited! this little boy is growing alot we played the poke game last night i would poke him and he would poke back i fel his arm and elbow and butt hahaha so in love!

we love the name we have picked but i am still considering others, i like a few different ones, so we will see what we choose. =)

25 weeks!

so we have hit the 25 week mark! wahoo! i am feeling wonderful!
We went to our drs appt and everything is right on schedule! for the first time ever i am not measuring big! with jamison i measured big the whole time!!!
so far i have gained 7 lbs and that is awesome! i hope to not gain much more!

ever since about 14 weeks i have felt wonderful! nothing to complain about! this little boy is so active it is awesome! he is so calm when i am out and about but as soon and i sit down and rest he is ACTIVE!

i am sorry i havent posted in a while with my online business it has gotten crazy! i have litterally went from nothing to HUGE over night! i have over 1800 fans on facebook and i am constantly havig orders to fill! it is great so great i quit my job at dominos!

Jamison turns 2 next friday and i cant believe my baby is already two!!!
he is so funny these days saying the funniest things and being the best kid ever!
we are so lucky to haver him i cant wait to post pictures from his party with his cousins in a couple weeks!

20 weeks!

Yesterday we had our big 20 week ultrasound! i was so nervous i am pretty sure i didnt say more then 3 words the whole time till we got there. i was so scared something was going to be wrong!

so they got us back into the ultrasound room, and it was such a relieve to see the baby and moving no less!!!

then he started to do the measurements and i kept asking is that normal and does that look right i am pretty sure my ultrasound tech Rick was so tired of my questions!

Everything went great! baby BOY is still a boy and he is perfect! his heart is wonderful beating at 150 bpm and he is a mover! he has jamisons same profile at 20 weeks like they are identical! i seriously cant believe it! they have the same nose and mouth!!!

his little feet and legs and arms were all perfect and so were all his organs! everything was where it is suppose ot be!!

the great news is our due date has changed to August 25th! so we are measuring further along which is great! i love to loose a couple more days that quickly!

Jamison is excited! he loves to kiss my belly whenever we ask where the baby is! we are working on him saying the baby's name and he is doing very well!

i am just so excited to see my boy! i want to hold him right now!!! i still every now and then wish he were a girl but i know this little boy is suppose to be in our family! after two miscarriages it puts everything in place and you realize that every little one that comes into your family is because they are meant to be there! so i am so excited about our little boy coming!!!

i have started making him blankets and i have been designing his room and everything! only 20 more weeks left! and these first 20 went by so fast so i hope they do the same!

I also keep telling the baby he canc ome early but not before 37 weeks! i am determined to make it full term! but 38 weeks would be perfect! it would allow me to go to my brothers wedding in august if he came at 38 weeks! so hopefully that works out! but honestly i want him to come when he is ready!!! that is all that is important!

happenings so far

So we have had a busy life since the last post! we are so busy all the time it is hard to find time to sit down and blog.
First off Josh is playing baseball again this season and it is so nice to see him in his element! he just lights up and it is fun for jamison too because he is old enough now to enjoy it!
Josh had his first game today and they 10 runned them! it is awesome! Josh is a home run his second time up to bat and you could tell he was proud! lol

April is going to be seriously busy for us! next weekend i go up to rexburg to get michelle from school, i am so excited to see her it has been too long!
Then of course josh has softball games on wednesdays and then baseball games on saturdays, plus i have alot of this to do for my business.

Which since i am on the subject is starting to take off! in just a few nights i have double the followers and the orders keep coming it! it is AMAZING! and it is so fun watching it grow!

Jamison is getting so funny! he makes us laugh all the time and anytime he thinks he is funny he will laugh and then say, "i funny" it is too cute! he is also loving to say bye and blow kisses!

We are almost to the half way mark in this pregnancy! it has gone by way fast yet slow at the same time! we have our big ultrasound on monday where the check the baby out completely so i am so excited for that! and i finally am starting to show, i have only gain a single pound lol no complaining! and i am finally looking a bit pregnant! people are able to tell it is a belly not fat!! hahaha

At the end of the month i get to see my dad who i miss so much and josh is coming with us so it is going to be so fun to see everyone together and play for the weekend!!

so i will have a better post on monday all about the baby! but that is it for now! =)

Last night Josh and I went to find out what was wiggly in my belly! this was a huge deal for us because we havent have a ultrasound since 6 weeks so the last time we saw our little one they were the size of a peanut with no features! so i was so excited to see the little one!!!

Before we got there they told me to drink a bunch of water and juice so the baby will be active and so i would have a full bladder. i was like seriously? full bladder?!?!?!? pregnant oh my word i was in pain lol

when we got there i was so nervous i knew i would love it no matter what it was but i really wanted a girl to dress up and be my little mini me! and i thought for sure that because this pregnancy was so different that it would be so.

When they took us back i laid on the table and they put that warm goo on my belly, and then we got to see the baby and i couldnt stop smiling! it was so cute it looked like our little baby and it was wiggly and kicking and waving all over the place!

so she went to its bum to see if we could see anything, and the baby had its leg wide open for the show! and immediately you could tell he was just like his brother! a BOY for sure!!! there was no way to mistake it!!

She even made it so you could see the difference between the cord and his parts, so you knew it wasnt the cord.

i was bummed immediately when they told me a boy but then she just sat there on him and we watched him move for 5 minutes, we saw his legs kicking and he took his arm and waved at us litterally waved and we saw his little fingers and everything, and then you could see his belly rise and fall and he was breathing and then the cutest thing ever we watched him drinking he fully opened his mouth and swallowed like 7 times and that is when i fell in love with this little boy!

as we were leaving josh kept saying are you ok? i am so sorry and i told him yes i am fine i am ok, because this pregnancy stuck this baby is meant to be in our family. with two other miscarriages this baby stuck and is here and kicking and healthy and happy and that is all i want! i know he is going to be a handful because look at his brother! lol

but i am so happy Jamison has a little brother to ruff house with and to play and wrestle!
when Jamison was almost a year old we went to have easter in rexburg and Dallas his little cousin who is 4 months older, was trying to wrestle with him and it was the cutest thing i have ever seen and then and there i said i wanted Jamison to have a brother, also when we were first married and Josh and I were talking about kids i told him i wanted two boys then a girl. so really it is working out the way i want, and as badly as i wanted a girl i am so blessed to have this baby and i know he is meant to be in our family and i am beyond happy he is here!

not to mention we have a killer boys name and i am beyond happy to use it!!!

16 weeks!

today we are 16 weeks! wahoo! we find out what we are having in a few days and i am so nervous! with all the crap going on with our name for a girl it is so nerve wrecking to find out what we are having!

since we got pregnant i have thought it was a girl but now i want it to be a girl more then ever. but i am ok if it is a boy as well i will be a sad because we will loose our girl name and it is going to suck but as long as the baby is healthy i am going to be happy! i dont want to have another baby in the NICU i want this to go perfect!

This pregnancy is completely different then it was with Jamison. i have not gained a pound yet and i look like i did at 9 weeks with jamison. i am tiny people dont even know i am pregnant! lol where with jamison it was so obvious!

we have a few drs appts coming up and those are so exciting! i love to hear the baby is healthy and doing well and i love to hear that little hearbeat thumping away!

it is so exciting to find out what we are having so we can start getting everything ready for her or his arrival! i have so much to make and do but i cant until i know what we are having! i have so many ideas for nursery colors and themes as well as blankets and clothes and everything else!

and i cant wait to start calling my belly by his or her name.

i have been having dreams lately that we have a little girl! i have had a few where she is already born and just looking at us and she is beautiful! and then i had one that i gave birth to her and she came out looking like jamison lol but i am hoping those are premonitions. lol

just a few days!

in other news jamison has decided he needed to help out the walls of the office they were so plain so he found a marker and drew all over the walls but i could get too mad because he was so proud of his drawing he talked to me about them for a good 20 mins pointing and smiling! you just cant get mad! lol needless to say everything is out of reach now!

i will be blogging when we find out what the little one is!!!

14 weeks

we have made it to 14 weeks!!!!

sometimes it is so hard to believe we have made it this far! but at the same time it is amazing to think that in 5 and a half months we will be holding a new baby!! i have been dreaming about this for a long time and it is a great to think we are almost to the point of finding out what we are having and then it is the best part of getting everything ready for the baby to come by getting the nursery ready and painting and clothes and hanging his or her name!!!

i am so excited! thus far the pregnancy has been not hard but different. i have had nauceousness at night and i still can not eat meat! there is just a lot of things i cant eat or smell without gagging. and that was never a problem with jamison! i ate everything in sight with him and with this baby i can only eat a few things and then i wear those options out and i have to try and find something new to be able to eat lol.

well at 14 weeks i still have not gained any weight. but i look like i have i have gotten wider then bigger with this baby. i still have a tiny bump but my love handles are a bit bigger lol

so here is my 14 week belly.

in a few weeks we find out what we are having!!! what do you think it is??

we have picked out names for both a girl and a boy! but we are hoping for a girl!!

13 weeks!

We have finally made it out of the first trimester! so beyond happy that the first trimester is over! i had my doctors appt thursday with Dr. Voss, and it went great! i have not gained any weight and i am so happy about that! my doctor is so amazing! he makes me feel so much better!! the heartbeat is 164 bpm and healthy we are so happy to hear that and to be able to listen to his heartbeat was so amazing it was the best 5 minutes of my life and jamison was loving it as well!

we have another drs appt at 16 weeks and then the big one at 19 weeks. i thank the lord everyday for how far we have gotten and that we get to have this baby in our lives!

there has been alot of stress i have been put under in the last few weeks and it has made me think of a lot of stuff i thought i never would have to worry about.
Because of the problems i have been having to face and try to get through i have been really worried about the baby and trying to make sure it is ok.

and yesterday hearing the heartbeat made me so happy! wahoo the baby is strong and growing!!!

we are offically done with the first trimester!!! we are so happy to be out of the woods a bit!! i mean there is always something that can go wrong but the miscarriage percentage goes down every week! and i love to see that!!

we have two doctors appts this week! one with Sue our nurse on Monday and then one with Dr. Voss on thursday! o i cant wait to hear that little heartbeat! we are a month away from finding out what we are having! i can not wait!!!

i want a little girl so bad and of course Josh wants a boy lol. he tells me all the time he is all man and doesnt shoot pink lol but we will see! i have a feeling it is a girl, but that might be cuz i want one so bad! lol

Jamison is understanding more and more about mommy having a baby in her belly. we ask him where the baby is and he loves to point and my belly and kiss it. there for a little while he would point and josh and say baby in his belly too hahah we laughed but we have taught him it is just mommy not daddy.

i am so excited for jamison to be a big brother he is such a big helper now that he is going to be AMAZING when it comes to helping with the baby!

so i have yet to put apicture of my belly so i decided since it is a joyus time that the first trimester is over that i will share. just keep in mind i am huge yet i have lost weight thus far and i am not back to my original weight. so i dont know where this little bump is from! lol

so that is a little update from us! we will let you all know how the drs appts go this week!

Today we were goign to see our doctor for the first time. Dr. Voss didnt deliever Jamison we lived in west jordan so i had a different doctor, so this was a new doctor. and we went to his office and we LOVE him! he is so personal and he talks to us like we are people he has a small office and so it isnt like we are waiting a long time. he has 5 employees and they all know us by name and so it is great!

so we got to hear the baby today again and the heartbeat is strong! which is the best news ever! he measured my uterus and it is right on schedule! so our Official due date is August 27th! we are so thrilled!! and he really cares about us! we are going to see him in 2 weeks at the 12 week mark to make sure everything is great and we make it through the first trimester then we will go to every 4 weeks! so we are so happy!!!

so we are in our 9th week approaching the start of the tenth week! and i totally understand now what everyone means when they say every pregnancy is different!!!
when i was pregnant with jamison it was a breeze the first trimester! it was so easy i wouldnt have even known i was pregnant had i not tested! i didnt have a lick of morning sickness and i wasnt tired at all i was perfect no food cravings and no adversions either!!!

But this pregnancy is 100% different! i knew i was pregnat before i even tested my gosh the symptoms were there. with jamison i didnt get a positive till 2 days after my missed period and with this pregnancy i got a positive 6 days after ovulation so8 days before my missed period! i know crazy but it happened!!!

With this pregnancy i am constantly sea sick feeling i have had a few days where i have felt great but mostly it is constant sea sick nothing helps and food worsens it. there are tons of food i simply CANNOT eat! lol like ground beef just saying it and typing it makes me gag a little, chicken is a hit and miss, mexican food, chinese food, and pizza they all make me sick! but i can eat bread and potatoes and steak if i dont cook it. lol but i havent gained any weight yet and have actually lost!

we have our next appt on the 31st of this month. i am still nervous i know i heard a heartbeat already and everything was perfect but i cant help but be nervous that everything isnt. after i pass the 10 week mark i will be fine! i lost the first one at 10 weeks so that is my deadline ahaha so to speak.

so this week the baby is almost the size of a grape but i feel like it is much bigger! for not gaining any weight i sure look like i have! lol i have that cute little pooch on my tummy that can easily be mistaken as fat lol but it reminds me that there is a baby growing!

so yeah i will have a better update on monday but we are so happy and blessed that we get to have the little one joining our family in august! cant wait!!!

Prayers Are Answered!!!!

After 2 seperate miscarriages one in May and one is August, and after 2 months of trying to figure out what is wrong with me we finally figured it out!!

aparrently it happens to many women! i have low progesterone which happened after the first miscarriage! it makes it so my body doesnt produce enough to sustane both me and the baby so my body aborts the baby. so now we know what is wrong!!!!

so a few months ago i started the regiment of progesterone cream for 2 weeks a cycle after ovulation since that is when your body needs the progesterone! plus if you re constantly n progesterone it will actually make it so you wont ovulate, that is what happens in pregnancy, so i have been doing progesterone for a little while now!

and Our Family Is GROWING BY TWO ADDORABLE LITTLE FEET!!!!!! we are finally pregnant!!!! it only took 2 miscarriages and 3 months later but we are excited for this! it has been a long time coming! i have definetely become closer to my heavenly father in this process by trusting him and knowing that he is all knowing and there were reasons for our losses! and i have become closer to my dear husband! in these losses he has been my rock when i am uncontrolable and he is there to pick me up with every other announced pregnancy! he has been there to tell me it is ok and that we have a very special little one waiting to join our family!

So my prayers have been answered! we had an early ultrasound to check ont he pregnancy and make sure it was progressing normal, and to much relieve it is! we got to see the little peanut and got to hear its beautiful heartbeat! let me tell you that sound is the best thing in the world when you are praying so hard for it!!

So our little one will be joining our family at the end of August! between the 27th to Sept 1st. the reason why we dont have an exact date is because the doctor we see says if our measurements are within a week of the projected due date they keep that due date even if it is off by a few days, so our projected due date is the 27th but we ovulated late by 4 days so really it would be the 31st but since it is within that week the due date of the 27th stays!

I am beyond relieved to know that there is a little one there and everything is going well! i am actually nauseous with this pregnancy which is something i am not use to!!! with Jamison i wasnt nauseous AT ALL!!! and this one last night knocked me down to laying ont he couch for hours because i was so sick, like i wanted to throw up but my body wouldnt! youknow when you feel like all i need to do is throw up and i will feel better? i felt that way and couldnt do anything about it!

so we are 7 weeks strong and so beyond excited! Jamison says baby all the time and points to my belly! we ask himt o give the baby kisses and he will kiss my tummy! i am so happy we are having them further apart then i originally wanted, just because he understands more and he is going to help me! not to mention i will only have one baby in diapers instead of two!! that in and of itself i s going to be a money saver!!! and plus i get to teach him about babies and he actually retains it! he is excited when he saw the baby on the screen he pointed and smiled he knows whats going on so i am so happy we get to have the baby later then earlier!

so there is our happy news cant wait and so happy!!! thanks for listening!!

Christmas 2010

This year has flown by! i swear i blinked and the year is over!!! it has been a up and down year in this household but for the most part we have had so much fun together adn enjoying each other and watching jamison turn from a baby to a little boy!!!

December 14th was josh and i's 3 year anniversary! we gave each other gifts and then we went to eat at the roof restaurant in downtown, it was goregous we were right next to the window and so we got to see the temple up close and personal with the christmas lights it is beautiful and it reminded me of hwo special it is for me to be sealed to my husband and my son forever and that we get to be together even have this mortal world it is such an undescribeable feeling and i loved the whole evening with my husband and son. we were going to get a babysitter for jamison but then we decided not to because if we are celebrating our wedding and our lives this far it wouldnt have been the same without him! maybe when there are more kids and everything we will get a babysitter but we want to enjoy all the time with just jamison for as long as we can!!!

Christmas was great this year, we went up to rexburg to see josh's family, we went to the christmas eve party adn grandma and grandpas house and had a good time eating and laughing and watching jamison interact with jake and terressa's kids he is so funny and he LOVES to dance!!! hahahaha

then christmas day we went over to grandmothers and had an AMAZING meal cooked by grandmother and it was to nice to sit and relax and chat with family and enjoy each other and jamison loves grandmother he would show her toys and when it was time to leave he gave her two loves before we could go.

So we didnt bring up presents to open there because we didnt want to haul it all there and back so we opened all of our gifts when we got home and jamison was so excited to rip the wrapping paper! it is so awesome to have him interact more this christmas!!! so he loved it! he got spoiled with cowboy boots from his aunt, a song playing doodle machine from nana carole, puzzles and money, as well as a bed set and clothes and much more!!! we all got spoiled! it was awesome!!

so now we get ready for the new year! we are getting to know friends and neighbors int he ward more and i have to say i love the ladies i am getting to know there are a handful that warm my heart and i want to do as much as i can to help them or just hang out.

other then that nothing to exciting is going on we love our life and our family and are excited for what the new year has to bring and offer and luckily we get to go through everything together!

New Day

So we went to portland for thanksgiving!!! it was so much fun!!! it was a long 12 hour drive there and an even longer drive back due to weather!!! but it was a blast to hang out with my dad and Dr. Carole and my wonderful aunt jojo even came down to hang out!!!

Jamison would not stop going and kept giving grandpa hugs and kisses and running around his house! i dont think my dad has smiled that much for that long of a period of time!

we got up and went black friday shopping and jojo stayed home with jamison and they slept lol while we tried to battle the crowds! we got some killer deals though!!! we got josh a shop vac from home depot and it was only 28 dollars!!! and it is a awesome vac not thoughs crappy ones from walmart! it was a killer deal too! and we got some great pjs for jamison on sale and of course clothes too! so i was a specfic shopper on black friday! lol

anyways it was a great time to spend with my family and i wish desperately that either i or they lived closer!!!

but that is not the reason for my post today.

On to the good stuff, i am not really a very spiritual person, i tend to keep those thing private and yet today i feel like i need to share some feelings.

Yesterday night my dear friend came over to do visiting teaching bless her heart and told me of some extremely sad news of a good friend of ours. The friend who for privacy i will not name her was pregnant with her 4th child, they had 3 girls and were thrilled to be finally getting their little boy that they had dreamed about! we all were so extremely excited to hear the news,
well while i was gone enjoying my vacation with my family their family was experiencing a lost, see the baby had a hole in its diaphragm and so all the organs had gone into its lungs and since its lung werent developed obviously there was no saving him. they had to be induced and say goodbye to their little guy!

when i was told this news i was devestated! i seriously was heartbroken! i know the heartbreak of loosing a pregnancy since it has happened to me twice but i dont know the feeling of having to bury your child!!!

so that got me thinking, lately as some know i have been realy up and down about the whole wanting to be pregnant so bad and with every aunt flow visit it is like a stab straight in my heart and i kept thinking why why why we know i can get pregnant sheesh i have been pregnant 3 time before! and so i know it is not that, everyone keeps telling me it will happen when it is suppose to and i have been so down and like yeah freaking right whatever it is science people the lord doesnt just give people babies!

but yesterday night and i laid in bed thinking about this sweet sweet family and the hard time they are facing it made a light bulb go off in my head. i am so focus on me me me me and how i am not pregnant and everything else when it isnt about me at all!!! it is all about the lord and that baby, here i am thinking if i do this and this and this i will for sure get pregnant and it dawned on me that the lord truly does know every little soul that comes into this world and that it is according to his plan and his way and if that soul that is to come to our family isnt ready then as hard as we wish it it wont happen.

and so i hit me like a ton of bricks and i all of a sudden got a rush of warmth and my feelings of resentment and feelings of anger and sadness were lifted i know i will get pregnant again and i know we will continue our family i mean think about it it has only been 3 months since our last loss bodies need to heal! and i know we will get the perfect spirit that is meant to be in our family and maybe i dnt understand what is going on now and why i havent gotten pregnant again but i know i will understand it later!

so this morning i woke up refreshed it is a new day! no more sadness no more worries about is this the month or could i be pregnant or wishing on a star to be pregnant it is a new day to focus on my beautiful family i am blessed with and enjoy every moment i have with my son because he will never be this small again and i dont want to look back and go well if i hadnt moped around so much i wouldnt have missed out on things! so today is a a new day!!!

#7: we are so thankful for choices! the ability to choose and not have to do what others deem we should. we are given the choice of right and wrong and good and evil and this allows us to grow closer to our Lord and our families with each new choice we make!

#8: thankful for the evr watching adn guiding hand of the Lord in everything i do! i am so thankful to know that the Lord is always there, he is there to watch guide and comfort in times of need! he is there when we least expect it and he is there when he is most needed. i have a saying in my home that says " Christ is the center of our home, a guest at every meal and a silent listener to every conversation" i love this saying because it is so true and he has his hand in all things and it is a true blessing to know that we will never ever be alone!

number 5: i am so thankful for my mom's death, i know that sounds crazy and i am grateful because if she hadnt left us so early i wouldnt have to amazing relationship with my dad that i have now! her death allowed my father and i to get close and enjoy each other!! before my mom died i didnt really know my dad much and so now we are the best of friends.

number 6: i am so thankful for the gospel and it allows me peace with the fact that my mother passed away, and it allows me to know that we will be together forever and that she is in peace and with the lord. it also allows me to know that i can be with my family for ever and that my son jamison is mine forever and ever seal to me and my husband! i love this gospel and everything it does for me in my life!!! it allows me to be happy and at peace where others who dont have it are in turmoil!

Today i am so thankful for my dad! we are so close and he is like a best friend! after my mom died he had to raise 3 kids on his own and i am so blessed that he did it so well! he has always been there for me through everything in my life whether small or large i know i can always count on my dad!

Today i am so thankful for a home, a roof over my head i can call mine, and all the amenties that come with that! like electricity, mickey mouse clubhouse (for jamisons sake!), running water, heat, and ac in the summer!

i am so blessed to be able to call something mine and i can do whatever i want to it! if we want to paint the walls we can and if we want to change the layout we can and everything we want we can! i am so blessed we arent rent and that our house payment is less then what it was renting!!!

i am so happy to have a husband that gives his time amd energy everyday to give me and jamison this home and amenties!

so that is my thankful today!

First off i woulf like to thank everyone who has been such a crutch to me lately, my husband who is amazing and listens and tries to make everything that is wrong better! he is my life and i would be nothing without him! and all my friends and family that have been so supportive in my recent heartache and low times, it is amazing how true loved and blessed i feel with the smallest and kindest things that mean everything so thank you!!

i cant believe it is already november!!!! holy freaking crap!!! my boy turns 18 months this month and is now able to go into nursery and i think i am having a harder time then he is!! i get teary just thinking about it! i wish i could freeze time and just have him stay little! but he is amazing and this boy always brings a smile to my face!!!

So thankful number 1 of course is my family! i have the best husband and we have been so spoiled with our son! he is so so funny! we had josh's mom with us these past couple days and he just kept cracking all of us up!! we went to dinner one night and he was sitting next to grandma in the booth and interlocked his fingers and put his hands on teh table and sighed hahahaha liek hello i am ready for dinner! hahaha and he chats like crazy it is all he wants to do! he gives the best kisses too and he LOVES to snuggle! a boy after my own heart!!! and josh is my everything! i couldnt have asked for a better companion in this world! he is perfect for me! he knows when something is up and he knows how to spoil me! lol he is building me my craft room downstairs as we speak! spoiled much??? i think so!!!

Number 2 thankful is i am so thankful for my dad. he is an inspiration to me! he raise 3 kids on his own and i dont know how he is still sane! he has managed to become one of my best friendds and we talk all the time! the type of relationship i would have with a mom and he feels it perfectly! and he is AMAZING with my little jamison! he loves himt o death and has made more special trips out to see us now that he is here then ever!!! i love to see him with my baby cuz it is a sweet reminder of my childhood and i love it!

so those are my thankfuls! and i will continue through the month of november! thanks again to everyone who has thought of me and my family lately or said a small prayer for us they are truely felt and i am beginning to understand and be ok with what has happened and i am looking forward to what will be!

i want to start off by saying i am truely blessed to have such an amazing husband who loves me despite all my flaws! and i have a AMAZING little boy who loves to call me mom and give me kisses and loves to cuddle! we have been so spoiled with him!!!

and i would also like to say that i amd so blessed to have an amazing in law family!!! my mother in law who i love to call mom because that is what she is to me and she is so sweet and caring and knows just what to say and when i need a dt pepsi! lol and the rest of josh's family is so loving and i am truely thankful to be so excepted.

now i have been having a bad day today and i need to let out my thoughts or i am going to go into a deep hole and not come out for a while and for the sanity of my husband and my son i would rather not.

i dont know if everyone knows but josh and i were pregnant, we lost it in fact we lost two seperate pregnancies within a 6 month span, the first on as in may and we lost it at 10 weeks, it was horrible i was so depressed and nothing seemed to make it better i would blame myself and say i over did everything and caused it. the miscarriage was like giving birth all over again!!! i have never felt such pain!!!

the second loss was in august at 5 weeks, this was sadly was easier emotionally because i had already done this before but it still didnt make it any better.

i thought once again what is wrong with me??? why cant i keep the baby? and then i realized that the baby isnt really mine, the baby is the lords and it is kind of on loan while down here so that it can learn and be tested to return back to him.
yes i believe our kids are ours but i believe that the lord gives them to us to watch over so the way i got through this last one is i thought maybe the baby just needed a heartbeat and that was all.

so i was trying to feel upbeat a bit about it. but the reason why i am posting is not to get all this sympathy it is because of late i have many people i know that are getting pregnant and having babies and healthly pregnancies, and i for some reason am having such a hard time with it. i am so happy for them and i couldnt be happier for them and their families! but i seem to have a little envy and question why not me? i have been wanting jamison's sibbling for a while now and so why am i not having healthy pregnancies and everything?

i know because they are having babies isnt why i am not. i know that their bliss has nothing to do with my agony but i still cant help but feel a twinge every time i see someone i know getting pregnant and my wishing desperately that it was me.

well anyways i dont think anyone really reads this it is more for my release i guess but for those people who suffered through this post thanks for listening!

September in a nutshell!

So september came and went faster then i thought it could!! we had so much going on and had a blast every minute of it!

So first things first, where the heck did my baby go? i have a little boy now a toddler he doesnt have baby chunk anymore he is like a little man it is sad!

ok onward! So we decided on monday that it was time to take jamison to Chuck E Cheeses for the first time! and he had a blast!! he was running around playing with every game and it is finally a place where i can let him do that!!! and they have this cool stamp and you can only see under ultraviolet lights and so all three of use have the same stamp and to leave we have to show the door person the stamps it is a nice reminder that not just any creep can come in and take your baby!

Next we found a rocking jumping horse at a garage sale for 3 dollars and jamison just loves it!!! he rides it like crazy!! everytime he gets playng he runs straight for the horse! lol

next we went on our first family vacation! we went to the grand canyon and then down to lake havasu to visit my aunt judy!!! We went camping for the first time as we headed down to the grand canyon and it was so fun! and it was beautiful to have the canyons in the background! the grand canyon was breathtaking and poor jamison was asleep for all of it!!! lol but he did wake up to get a picture in front of the grand canyon sign!! and then we headed down to lake havasu to hang out with my aunt judy who hasnt seen jamison is about a year! so as we drove into lake havasu it went from 83 degrees to 112!!!! i couldnt believe it and told josh to grab a picture of it! and it was HOT HOT HOT the whoel time we were there! so what do you do when it is hot? we went to the lake of course!!! and we played on sea doos for two days straight! oh my gosh they were so fun!! josh and i were jumping them on wakes and we were seeing how fast we could go and i got mine up to 62 mph it is so fun you feel liek you are flying across the water not even touching it!!!

Jamison had so much fun on the shore! we brought him sand toys and he played like crazy and was running in and out of the water! luckily judy loves jamison and would watch him while we went playing on the sea doos! sadly i forgot my camera so i dont have pictures of being at the lake!

We also went to this old mining town call oatman and it is in the middle of BFE but it is a cool little town they have burrows running around the town free and they will come right up to you and everything! we have a bunch of pictures of them with jamison they loved him! probably cuz he smelled like food! lol they even tried to eat jamisons cowboy hat! lol

we had lunch in oatman at this restaurant that had dollar bills EVERYWHERE!!! they were on the ceiling and they were all over the walls! you signed your dollar bill and would hang it on the wall! it was so cool! but the service was HORRIBLE! but that is ok it was so fun!

sadly we had to come home but before we left we went to the london bridge, the actually had the london bridge disassembled and each brick had a number on them and the reassembled it here in lake havasu so we went down to see it and take a picture at the fountain.

on the way home we stopped for a night in vegas and we stayed t circus circus so jamison could play some arcade games and also win prizes so that was fun! nd josh won us money to pay for our dinner so that was great too! he is a smart black jack player!

so that is about it for september! i cant believe it is already october! and in like 6 weeks we get to go home to portland and see my dad!!! i cant wait!!!

August Happenings

So we have had a lot of fun this august in our home! we have had so much fun playing around the house and just being a family!

Jamison is a character!!! he has so much spunk and loves to be busy!! i can never get this boyt o calm down unless it is time to go to sleep and he LOVES to sleep!!

Jamison has finally graduated to his toddler bed and he loves it!!! he gets to come into our room in the morning and wake us up and it is truely the best way to be woken up in the morning!

He also wants to help out around the house LOT liek he loves the mop it is the best thing in the world to him! he would rather play with the mop then any of his toys! lol it is so cute though!

and he wants to be a big boy and sit in his big boy chair and i think it is so cute when i say you want to go bye bye he goes and gets into his chair for me to put on his shoes! he is getting so smart!!!

this month has been eventful! jamison had a double ear infection that we had no idea about until he had a 104.5 fever and we went to ER and they told us about it! he didnt tug on his ears or anything he was so good i cant believe how tough our little guy is!!!

we went into Cal Ranch near our home and jamison had a BLAST!!! he loved all the tractor toys and the riding horse! i wish we could have bought the horse for him but it was way way too much money! at the end of the post is the video of him playing on the horse! it is hilarious!

Jamison is a talker now too!!! he loves to say yes and no and oooooooh like when he wants what you are eating he will come up to you and say ooooooooooh till you give him some and then he says mmmmmmmh lol it is so cute! and he jabbers like carzy i dont understand a single word but he will mak esure you are pay attention to what he is saying!

my dad and sister are coming into town this weekend and then the next weekend i am going to brigham city to sell my bows in the peach days festival!! so i have been working around the clock to make a bunch of bows! and then 2 weeks later we are going to the grand canyon and lake havasu to visit my aunt judy who hasnt seen jamison in a year!!! so we are so excited!
so september is going to be CRAZY busy but that is how we like it!!

October will be more low key and then traveling again for the holidays! so it is exciting and fun to get the holidays off and going!!!

So alot has happened and i havent had time to update as usual.

First Jamison and I were able to go to the zoo for the first time together!!! we had a blast! Jamison got to touch a bunch of animals!!! he got to touch an armadillo, a possum, a turtle, and a snake! and he loved every minute of it!!

and then we went to see little zuri the new baby elephant and he was so excited to see her!!! he would squeal and point whenever she was near!! it was so cute!!

soon after the elephant he zonked out! i couldnt believe it!! he was so tired! lol but we had a blast!!

Next we went to provo for a family get together since kelli and JR were both in town we all got together to go swimming and have a BBQ and we had so much fun! Jamison loved to water and the kiddie toys! he sat so good on the blanket with his cousins and ate his snack and then fell fast alseep in Kelli's arms! and so we put him on the floor and he took like a 2 hour nap! when we went to change i took off his swimsuit and he took off the the lockers so i had to take a picture of him baring it all in front of all the ladies in the women's locker lol.

then we went to jard's for a BBQ and he played catch with Luke it was so cute! he wanted to play with all the balls and the boys i love my little guy!! and we had to try out the new jean diapers because they are so cute in the commercial and so of course he looked like a stud! lol

and Finally we went to a Bee's game for the fourth of july with Jill and Dave and Mom and Dad and we had awesome seats we were on the front row on the third base line! we had a blast jamison was such a good boy and he LOVED the firework show!!! he stared in awe the whole time! and then crashed as soon as we drove home!

so that is all that has happened recently to us! and here are some more pictures of our cheeser! lol i dont think you have seen a cuter kid even with making a food mess! i love it! he is so dang cute ENJOY!

and we bought jamison a swimming pool so he could swim in the summer and we set it up on our porch! he loved it!!! it was awesome to get some garden work done without the generous help of a 14 month old!

13 months old!

So alot has happened since my last blog so i decided to do a day of catch up! lol

So first we went up to Rexburg for memorial day weekend and did the traditional cemetery visits and then we all went to chuck o rama and then we went shopping at the mall talk about a busy day! lol

so here are some pictures for them event, jamison falls asleep in the car all the time when we go on road trips but i specifically took this picture because look at that puss!!! he has big ol lips! just thought i would share lol

Later on this past month jamison has decided that he wants to help mommy cook! lol so he always goes for the pots and pans and clanks them together or puts stuff in then to "cook" just like mommy! it is so cute! i totally remember seeing pictures of me doing the same thing! lol

Then of course with toy story 3 coming out they have to coolest stuff! so we got him a alien hooded towel! and i must say he looks so dang cute!!!!

We also went to our first Bee's game this season and Jamison LOVED it!!! we had such a blast!

Jamison turns 1!!!!!

This weekend was so fun and crazy at the same time!!! My Dad and Dr. Carole drove all the way from Portland just to come to Jamison's birthday party! So Jamison turned one on thursday and it was a fun filled day he got to eat whatever he wanted and took a 4 hour nap! what kid wouldnt be happy????? when he did finally wake up we went to texas roadhouse for his birthday dinner with my Dad and Carole! we had a great time!

Then we went to josh's softball game which they only lost by one which is such an improvement from last year! and Jamison wouldnt sit still! so my dad went walking around with him and it was so cute to see him playing with his grandpa!!!

Friday came around and we were busy busy busy all day getting everything ready for Jamison's party on saturday. but friday night Dad and Carole gave Jamison a gift and it was his mater truck that he can ride on and let me tell you he LOVES it!!! he has been playing with it like crazy!!!!

and they gave him the cutest little labron james nike sneakers i have ever seen!!! i just love them and he gets so excited wearing them!!!

Saturday was the day of his party and i was getting everything ready all the way up to the time guest started to arrive! it is awesome!!!! we had so many people that came and it was so special to see all these people together for Jamison! he is truely loved by so many!!! he got some great gifts and we all had so much fun! playing ping pong and doing a pinata as well as a bbq and cake! i mean perfectly how i wanted it!

After everyone left i crashed hard and so did jamison he was so tired! he had a fun filled weekend and everything was PERFECT!!!!

So thank you so much to everyone who came and showed Jamison how much he is loved! i of course being a boob cried saturday rocking my baby realizing he is now a toddler and he will just continue growing! i want my baby to stay a baby! it is so sad to watch him grow but so exciting at the same time! he is walking by himself now long distances and he is mimicing everything we do it is so cute! and he is stronger then heck!!!

so Happy birthday Jamison i love you so much! life would be so boring without you! you truely dont understand unconditional love till you have a baby and then life truely begins!

LOTS to blog about!!!

So my heck it has been FOREVER since my last blog post and ALOT has happened as usual!

To start it all off my baby is crawling which he has been since March but i cant remember if i blogged about it so if not here we go! lol he is crawling and crawling everywhere! and now he is cruizing! we are hoping he will be walking on his own by his birthday.

Speaking of his birthday ti is in less than a month!!!!!!! i cant believe my baby will be one soon! it breaks my heart that he is getting so big but at the same time it is so fun because he is learning so much and i LOVE LOVE LOVE his cute little personality!

Josh decided jamison needed a hair cut but not any haircut and "man" haircut so what do we do??? give him a mohawk of course! lol so we decided to give him a mohawk right before our niece's blessing and we didnt tell anyone! lol we loved it but needless to say a few grandparents and great grandmother werent too thrilled! lol

Jamison loves loves loves to hang otu with harry and dallas! dallas tries to wrestle with him and it is so cute! lol the pictures speak for themselves! now they like to hang otu and feed each other and everything! they are going to be best buds for sure!

We went up to rexburg for easter! i was so excited since it was jamison's first easter! we did a easter egg hunt and it was so cute to watch him find ONe egg and that is all he wanted! lol we went to chuck o rama as usual and i loved seeing everyone and jamison of course wanted his grandmother! those two together are so precious!!!

we stayed at jake and terressa's easter eve and the easter bunny brought him so cool stuff!!! then we went to grandma anna's and he gave him some good food and a bunch of bathes which he loves both!!!!

since it has been sunny lately we have played at the park next to our house alot! so jamison loves the swings!!! he giggles and smiles like crazy!!!! the slides will take some getting use to! lol

And since summer is righ around the corner Joshie had to have a grill for the hot sumemr days and i of course beeing the best wife ever let him get one! and boy does he love it! he has been grilling everyday since we bought it! lol

9 month stats and much more

Hello again it has been a while but we have ben busy and i hardly thik anyone reads this anyways, it seems to be more for my benefit. lol

anyways, monday we went to Jamison's 9 month appointment, and he is a tall and skinny boy!!! he is 29 3/4inch tall which is int he 90th percentile which he has been since he was 2 months old!!! and his head is 90th percentile as well so he has a big head! lol and he has only gained 6 ounces since his 6 month check up! lol i guess that is what happens when you are busy moving!!! lol so his weight is the 50th percentile. so he is tall and skinny! lol

At his appointment i have been worried he is tongue tied, so when we went to the doctor i asked them to check it, and yes he is tongue tied, so he is getting it "clipped" next monday which i really just think that is a very fancy word for surgery, they use it to make us mothers feel good, but i really know what is happening! i had to go through the same thing!!! so i am really worried abiout it i must say! i know it is a mother thing but it scares the crap out of me that my baby is going to have someone cut his tongue or any other thing on his body! lol i freaked out like this when he was circumsized so what do you expect?

lets see the past few weeks since i blogged have been busy as usual! lol Josh put in new hardwood! and i LOVE it! it is just what i wanted and now we are putting in new carpet and the first floor will be finished except paint. which i will show everyone as we get it done! it is so nice to have a house and be able to change things and not have to ask if it is ok or if we can!!! i am loving how my husband bought me a home!!! not a townhome like we thought we would have to settle for as a first home but a free standing huge HOUSE! i love him dearly and all he provides for us!!!

My sister came down to visit and help install the floors! it was so fun to see her! i do miss her alot and i love that she is only 3 hours away!!!

Next, Jamison a week had RSV and what looked like the start of bronchiolitis which is deeper int he lungs the regular bronchcitis. so i freaked out but after doing some research most if not all kids get RSV by their 2nd birthday and alot of times people just pass it off as a cold, it is very common and nothing to be too worried about especially at his age and since his immune system is so strong! so we just gave him motrin and tylenol every 4 hours till he was better and it was just fine, doctor checked him again and everything was cleared up! no wheezing and his lungs were clear! WAHOOO!!! even being sick he was so happy all the time! he is the BEST baby! we are truely blessed and so lucky to have him!!!

Speaking of jamison, jamison is on to the next round in the most beautiful baby contest for regis and kathy lee!!! we will know the finalist on march 1st! and i pray it is jamison!!!! i will let everyone know if he makes it!!!

AND Jamison is goign to be in a calendar!!!! it is a calendar that all benefits go to a local tooele children's charity, but HELLO how cool is that? and he gets a professional shoot done, and we get a free 8x10 of the session as well and a calendar with him in it! and who wouldnt go for that?

so that is all that is happening, we are busy busy busy in the next coming weeks, i have to finish a class for school, finish painting jamison's bathroom, start his room, got to rexburg for not one, not two BUT three baby blessing which are like 30 minutes apart from each other..... hmmmm how am i going to pull that off? i dont know!!!! as well as start planning Jamison's first birthday party! which is going to be AWESOME!!! i already have it in the works!!!! and i need to planning a house warming party. so as you can see i am a busy busy bee!! but it is totally worth every minute!!!

Everything since Christmas so Far!

So it has been a busy busy month of January for us! since going to portland for christmas we have been slammed with things to do that i havent had time to update! so we will start from the beginning

First, we went up to rexburg to celebrate Grandmother's 90th birthday! we had so much fun hanging out with family and Jamison just loves his great great grandmother! She couldnt get enough of him all night! that was a fun quick trip.

Second, it was my birthday on the 9th of January! i cant believe i am 23 already! it is so weird especially having jamison this time around on my birthday! Josh took me to the Rodizio Grill in Salt Lake and it was so good! i dont think i have ever had that much food in one sitting. i told josh the nest time we go i should be pregnant because i would be able to eat a lot more! lol
it was nice to get away just josh and i but i missed jamison so it was great to come home to him!

Third, we put an offer on a home in Tooele and we were so excited when it got accepted! and that is when the real craziness started!!! i had to pack up our home! lol and take care of jamison which was a feet in and of itself! it was the first time i had to pack with a child that didnt sleep most of the day! so it is hard to juggle both packing and Jamison.

Fourth, Jill had her baby 3 weeks early because her too had high blood pressure problems, it is funny we were compairing pregnancy and they were quite similar! i had Jamison on a wednesday and Jill had Sophia on a wednesday, i had high blood pressure and so did jill, Jamison was 6lbs 8oz and Sophia was 6 lbs 11 oz and Jamison was a inch longer then she was a birth! and Jodi was in Romania when we both were told about the high blood pressure. it was pretty funny the similarities! lol

and Fifth the best one of all!!! We signed the papers and moved into our FIRST home! we were so excited! and it is so funny how we really dont have much! lol i have thought all along how we have so much crap but when we got it all in here it was crazy how much room we have! and jamison has a HUGE room!

We have some things we are going to be changing in the next months before we have a house warming party, but our amazing realitors and lender are throwing us the party and catering it! so we dont have to pay for anything! we are excited! i will be showing you guys pictures of the house as we change things! i am so excited!

and the Newest thing! is Jamison is almost crawling! he is rocking on his hand and knees all the time now! and he can stand up in one place all by himself! it is so cute! we are really excited! it is fun to watch him get closer and closer! he is becoming a lot more independent too! he doesnt need mom in the room all the time and doesnt have seperation problems. he doesnt mind when we leave and yet he gets so excited to see us return! it is the best!

Christmas in Portland

Sorry for such a late post but it has been crazy at my house since before christmas!

So this year was so special we got to spend christmas with my family in Portland! it was the first year that we were able to since we were ont he off schedule with Josh's sibblings so we had to do two thanksgivings at portland and two christmas's at rexburg, so this is the first one that we were able to go home to portland for and it just so happened to be jamison's first christmas as well!!!! i was so excited to be able to see all my family including my two aunts who havent seen jamison since he was born!!!

We all stayed at dad's house and it was so much fun! we had so much laughter and smiles that whole time we were there and my sister and i didnt fight once! so it was a blessed time! lol

Also for the first time in history my DAD woke all of us up for christmas morning! lol even jamison was out cold! lol it was hilarious! we had so much fun opening gifts! i made all the gifts from home this year and it melted my heart when everyone opened up their homemade gifts! my dad especially! he was bragging about his blanket all day! it made me so happy to get him a gift he truely would enjoy!!!

Jamison got SPOILED! as usual! from all his family! mom and dad got him some outfits and baby einstein dvds, as well as a zhu zhu hamster that he will be able to chase around soon! he got bath toys and clothes and of course grandpa got him a Harley Davidson onesie and a winter hat! and Judy of course got him his first steering wheel and shifter toy! lol she is trying to get him started young maybe he will be a nascar driver for her!!!! and JoJo got him a saving account with 100.00 for it! it was a great day for Jamison! lol

And to top off our stay it snowed while we were there! so of course we had to take picture of Jamison in Portland snow! it doesnt happen often and doesnt stay for long either!!!

Needless to say ti was a great holiday spending it with my family and i miss them so much! i cant wait for them all to be together again soon! i hope for Jamison's birthday! but we will see!

Christmas Time!

So last night we went downtown to temple square to look at the Christmas lights, and this year was more exciting and special for me then any other! this year we went with Jamison and it was such an amazing feeling looking at the nativity scenes and hearing the music and hearing the words of our prophet about christmas time! it helps me get a little closer to Mary almost, because before i was like oh i couldnt imagine what they went through and now having my own son and loving him more than life itself i TOTALLY understand the feelings and things they went through. and go even further i couldnt even begin to understand what she went through watching them crucify her son, i mean i think about Jamison getting shots that he needs and it kills me and brings a tear to my eye everytime they prick him. could you even imagine the pain she went through.

Only a mother and or father could feel for her and i am so happy and blessed that having my son this christmas time helps me get closer to the savior and his amazing mother. it takes a strong woman to be the Lord's mom.

but anyways sorry about the tangent. we had a good time looking at the lights. i loved that e could share it with Jamison for the first time and i look forward to the many years ahead going to the lights with him and more sibilings whenever they choose to enter our family!

Jamison's half birthday party!

So today Jamison turned 6 months old! we cant believe how old he is getting! yet we are loving every new sound and expression he makes! he is doing so well! we go to the doctor on monday to get shots and see his stats! i cant wait i love finding out how much my little boy has grown!

So we thought it would be so fun to do a mini party for his half birthday!!! so i went to walmart and got a mini cake for him and let him go at it! it was so cute how he was so nervous at first and then just dove right in! he was a mess y little boy afterwards! but i wouldnt have traded it for the world!

Corn Maze and Family Party and HALLOWEEN!

so i have a lot to blog about to bear with me! this past week has been pretty busy for us! since it is jamison's first halloween i wanted him to get the full experience! plus it is the first time for me being a mom to experience it as well! so we went to a corn maze last monday with jill and dave! it was so fun and jamison had a blast riding on daddy's shoulders! we got glow int he dark rings so that we could find each other if we got lost. it was so fun trying to find our way through the maze, dave was running around trying every way before we got there it was cute to see him act like a little kid, afterwards we went to arctic circle and had shakes what a way to end the night!

Then on Thursday Jamison and I drove up to rexburg to go to the family halloween party! i was so excited since i had the best halloween costume for jamison! i found a octopus costume at the quarter sale in boise and so i had to buy it! jamison looked so cute all dressed up!!! so we went to Nan & Jason's house for the party! and we didnt tell anyone we were coming up so grandma and grandpa wright were so surprised! Jamison and Grandpa had a blast on the couch together!!! grandpa kept giving him kisses on the cheek and jamison would giggle up a storm. it was so cute! and jamison is teething so i found him a celery piece and he loved to nawwing on that thing! it was so cute! We also surprised my sister when we came up and it was nice to see her since i rarely do now! so she got dressed up in her costume as well so we get a halloween picture together.

Then later this week before Halloween we went to furniture shopping with jill and dave and found this HUGE chair so naturally i wanted pictures in it! it is so funny to see how tiny jamison look for once! hahahaha and then we decided to go to another store and so i put jamison on my lap to look out the window of the car for a bit and he was watching all the cars drive by and then all of a sudden he dropped his head and was out and but out i mean OUT!! so i told josh to hurry and snag a picture before he woke up! it was so funny!!!

So saturday finally came!!! and we decided to take jamison to the mall and trick or treat! i have never done it before so we thought it would be fun. As you all know little jamison cant walk yet so we were going to put him in the stroller. but i thought how boring is that his stroller is boring and you wont be about to see his costume much so i got a brilliant plan!!!!

i decided to decorate his stroller to look like the ocean so that he looked like an Octopus in the ocean! needless to say everyone LOVED his outfit! we got compliments everywhere! we had so much fun! and jamison was the best kid ever! he didnt cry or whine he loved every minute of the attention! then we went to Jill and Daves neighborhood and went trick or treating since everyone was on their porches and we didnt have to walk up stairs! lol
So all in all this week has been so much fun! we loved halloween and next year it will be even better because jamison will be able to walk!!!

5 Months old and a STUD!

So Jamison just turned 5 months old this last monday! and we cant believe it already that he is so big! but it is so fun he has such an awesome personality and he is such a happy baby!!!! we got to go to Springville today and get some pictures of him taken by Josh's AMAZING sister Kelli!!! she is a professional photographer so when we get the pictures back i will post them! he is such a cute little man now! h is so happy all the time! even when he had a cold this past week he was all smiles!!! he is so amazing and we are so blessed to have him in our home he makes everyone happy who comes over and plays!

He now has learned to roll over from his tummy to his back which JR and Kelli were present of which was pretty exciting!!! and he also can roll from his back to his front! he almost can sit all by himself for longer then 5 minutes which again is supper exciting!!!

Jamison is now 19 lbs!!! i know what a chunk huh???? lol and he is 29 inches!!! so he is in the 95th for both height and weight! which is so wonderful since he was a premie!!!!

so today after his pictures with kelli we came home and took some more pictures to document his 5 monther so here they are!!! ENJOY!!

4 Month old Stats

So Monday we went to Jamison's 4 month old appointment and he was such a trooper!!! he had to get two shots and was not happy about it! but his is doing great otherwise!! he is 27 inches long which is the length of a 6 month old!!!! and he is now a healthy 17 lbs, so pretty much he is the size of a 6 month at 4 months!!! he is so freaking big! lol his height and weight ratio is in the 50th percentile and his length is the 95th and weight is the 90th. he is also trying to sit up by himself and almost has it!! but needless to say he is getting so much fun now! he is interacting so well and loves to smile and EVERYTHING!!

New News!

So it has been a while since i last posted and a lot has happened in the last week or two weeks! So the newest news is that we are moving into a basement apartment in West Valley City. it is a gorgeous home and the basement apartment is 1200 square feet alone and it is so pretty and doesnt look like a basement! the windows are high enough to let alot of natural light into the home! so we are really excited! the people that live above us are from India and they are the funest 63 year olds we have ever been around! they crack me up! Mona is hilarious she always is telling jokes wanting to hold Jamison and just calls every now and then to say hello! they are so sweet! We got an amazing deal too! we are paying 800 dollars in rent but that includes ALL utillities including cable and internet!!! it is so nice to have one payment and not have to worry about all the rest plus it is so much cheaper then what we are paying now! and we can have toby there with no extra charges!!! she has two puppies of her own upstairs so toby will have friends to pay with! So we are moving Oct 3rd into the new house and i cant wait! i just have alot of packing to do! but luckily i found and excersaucer for Jamison for 10 bucks so it is a life saver and he loves it! by far the best buy i have made!!!

So next news is that Jamison LOVES eating people food! or baby food i guess you would call it! lol he has been very grabby these days and he is mezmorized by us eating he will litterally watch you take every bite!!! so i figured why not start him on baby food, so he has tried carrots this last week and LOVES LOVES them! he has also tried sweet potatoes, peas, and green beans and loves to eat them all! he is getting to be so big!! he hasnt mastered the giggle yet but he tries so hard!!! it is so cute he sucks air in instead of pushing it out i try to get it on tape but he is so funny and i always miss it! so as soon as i do i will post it! so here are some pictures of late of my baby boy! he is turning 4 months on Sunday! i cant believe it! it still feels like last week i gave birth to him! and Jamison's hair is finally long that i can spike it up so here is his hair today! i love it! it is so cute!

I am so blessed to have such an amazing son! he teaches me so much already and he cant even talk! it is amazing how much little babies can teach you without saying anything! Jamison was truely meant to be in our family! He shows me patience and how simple life true can be! he makes me laugh and smile even when i dont want to and he makes everything worth doing just for him! and he is just the best baby! everyone he come in contact with just loves him and cant get enough of him! I honestly couldnt imagine life without him and i dont want to even think about it! yeah things are alot more expensive with a baby and money is tight with just one income but it is all worth the stress and worry just to hear jamison try to giggle and to watch him smile!

His new thing he has discovered is his fingers!!! he puts them in his mouth ALL THE TIME and he sucks on his arm as well!!!! Josh and I went to the library and jamison started sucking on his thumb for the first time and it was not quite but you can help but just smile, babies are the best thing ever they show you how simple and wonderful life is and they are the best piece of heaven you can get!

My baby is 3 months old today!!! i cant believe how fast the time has gone!! i swear it feel like just last week i gave birth to my most precious baby and now he is smiling and trying to laugh and stand with only the help of your fingers!!! i want him to stop growing!!! everyone says enjoy it while it last because they grow up too fast and it is so true!!! i want my newborn back! as of today he is no longer a newborn!!! that just eats me away!!! i want to just cuddle with my newborn all over again!

We do have the most amazing baby ever! like honestly we are so spoiled with our first child! Jamison is the easiest going baby i have ever seen in my life! he has only really cried cried 3 times since he has been born and that is it. now i know alot of you are probably going yeah right he cries more then that but he doesnt. when he is hungry he grunts when he is wet he grunts and when he is cold (which NEVER happens) he grunts! he cried hard when i put him in the bouncer seat and toby want to get in with him so he jumped on him and it scared Jamison really bad so it took like 3 minutes to calm him down and the second time was he had a really bad gas bubble in his belly and as soon as we got it out he was fine and stopped crying and the last time he cried was when his car seat straps were pinching his leg. when we figured out the problem he was fine once again. like honestly he doesnt cry! even when we drove 14 hours to portland the whole ride NOT A SINGLE CRY he was a happy baby! he ate played and slept that was it!

but today he is 3 months old and a quarter of the way to a year and it kills me! but st the same time it is so awesome to watch him grow and experience new things and see his personality come out!! he reminds me to much of josh and i am so happy that he does! it is amazing how we were able to produce such a beautiful son and i couldnt do it without josh by my side!!!!

So here is to you Jamison you are 3 months old! we love you so much! you are such a fun little guy! you never stop smiling and it is a great reminder of what life should be about! you love your bear and monkey so much and you have found that a rattle is quite a fun toy!! you love rides in the car and the shopping cart! Toby and you have a love hate relationship which is quite entertaining! you both get so jealous of each other yet toby protects you with his life! i cant believe you are 3 months old but i am so excited to watch you grow! so happy 3 months buddy! we love you! love mom and dad

So right after Jaimson's blessing we left to go to Portland just me, and Jamison. Josh sadly had to work this past week. So we decided we were going to drive back with my Dad and Carole who came up for his blessing. and Jamison was a champ going home it was a 12 hour drive and he was wonderful! no crying or screaming he just ate played a bit and then slept and kept doing that rotation! we seriously have the best baby EVER!!!!

When we got home to portland we had a lot of fun hanging out with my family! my brother Tim and his girlfriend Shay had yet to meet Jamison so it was so much fun hanging out with them and watching my brother with Jamison! We also got to go to Oaks Park which is an amusement park for free since my little sister Michelle works there! we had so much fun! Jamison and i rode the Carusel!!! and he loved it!!! he was all bright eyed and smiling the whole time! we also went on the screaming eagle and that ride is INTENSE!!! we all took turns hold jamison while the other three went on the ride! it is nuts how far you go up. you sit in a circle and you are spinning around while you go up and down and you past half way on the arm! it is so much fun!!!!

My dad had alot of fun with jamison this weekend as well! Jamison was all smiles every time he was with my dad! it was so cute to see my dad interact with my son! i love it! and i know my dad loves being a grandpa!!!

i had so much fun being home with my family and i miss them alot! i cant wait for christmas when we all will be together again!! and this time Josh will be with us too!!!!

Jamison's Baby Blessing

So i am little behind, it has been an eventful week! so i have a bunch to talk about. So on Sunday the 2nd we blessed our little boy Jaimson. It was so nice to have so much family altogether again! we had so much fun! we had a birthday party for everyone who was born in July or August and it was out at grandma and grandpa's house! it was fun to get together and chit chat with family! i know i had a good time! and My dad and Carole came in to town that night as well and my Aunt JoJo and cousin Russel! i am so happy they all could make it up to see the blessing!

Sunday was the best day for sure of the whole weekend, it was nerve wrecking for me and so i couldnt imagine how josh was feeling. But he did amazing! i was going to write it down but as soon as josh got up with Jaimson i lost it! i was a mess, i cried through the whole thing! so luckily Carole was next to me to write it all down!

After Jamison's blessing we all went to mom and dad's house to have lunch. it was so much fun to have everyone there laughing and playing games, the food was great and the company even better! so here are some pictures of that wonderful day!

Also it was Josh's birthday the day we blessed Jamison so we decided to do a mini birthday for him as well, all of my family including Tim, Michelle, Dad, Carole and Myself pitched in together to get josh the best gift ever. we got him a new driver the taylormade R9!!! he was so excited to get his gift i think he has used it every chance he can since we bought it for him!!! so i am so happy he likes it! he deserved that gift and so much more!!! we didnt have a cake for him so we gave him a mtn. dew can with candles on top which for josh is better then cake! lol

So lately Toby has finally taken a liking to Jamison, in fact he is now protecting him from people he doesnt know. For example my Aunt Judy came to stay the night a couple weeks back for her high school reunion. and he was sitting next to me while i was holding Jamison on one couch. Toby and Josh where sitting on the other, Judy reached over to touch Jamison and Toby had a heart attack! He started barking and growling at her from he opposite couch. when she pulled her hand away he was fine, but if she went back towards Jamison he would die again! it was so funny to watch!!!
So along with that story, we put jamison on the couch for his nap and Toby ran up and laid right next to him to protect him, in fact he does this every time we put jamison on the floor or couch, he will sit right next to him. He has finally figured out what the baby's name is because when we ask toby where the baby is or where jamison is he goes and licks jamison's face! i cant wait to see what jamison will do to Toby when he is older, oh dear!!!!

Also last weekend we went up the ogden canyon to hang out with the Thornock side of the family, it was nice to meet people i have never met before and just sit around and enjoy each others company. i must say it was a blast watching the boys play volleyball!! we had a great time! it is so nice to get out of the house and enjoy the weather when it is not too hot!

So today we went to Jamison's 2 month appointment, and here are his stats:

Weight: 11.4 lbs
Height: 23 inches long

He is in the 80th percentile for his length and the 50th percentile for his weight. but his height to weight ratio he is in the 5th percentile which means he should weight more for his length.... which hopefully means he will be a tall boy!!

But we are so happy he is growing so well! it is so nice to see him putting on a bit of weight although he still barely fits in 0-3 month old clothing and he is already 2 months 2 days old! hahaha

Sadly Jamison had to get 4 shots today, he was a trooper and only cried a little bit, he has been really good today too! alittle fussy but that is to be expected! Plus the doctor gave the OK to feed him rice cereal once a day since he eats enough formula a day! so it is so excited how much he is growing!!!

AND THE BIG NEWS!!!! WE CAUGHT HIM SMILING TODAY!!!! it is so cute to watch him smile he is finally smiling at us and not behind us to the angels! he will smile back at us when we smile at him! my baby is growing up so big and it is so cute to watch him grow and do new things! so here are some pictures of him this week! He learned how to play xbox with daddy and he will not let his binky out of his sight it is so funny because he grips it like it is life and death!

So tomorrow marks the day that our little baby boy is 8 weeks old! it is so crazy how the time has flown by! it is like yesterday i was in the hospital having him and now he is 2 months old!!! Jamison is so alert now a days! he is so cute because he is awake right after you feed him for about 2 hours and then takes a quick nap and eats again! he is growing so big too! he is offically out of premie clothes! YEPPIE!!! and into 0-3 months sadly alot fo the clothes are still too big on him but that is ok he can pull of the drowning in my clothes look pretty well!!

So one night we decided to try out the jumper with him, needless to say he LOVED it!!! he is so cute trying to kick off the ground! Lately he has been wanting to stand when he is held and he is putting weight on his legs like a champ! granted when it is just him holding himself up off the ground he is a bit wiggly and off balance, it look s like he is trying to do the hula hoop. but it is so cute! and i totally never thought that he would be able to put his full body weight on his legs already, i mean you have to have your hands under his arm pits ti stabilize but he bears all his weight it is amazing! also he can hold his head up on his own! you will put him on your shoulder and he holds his head up and looks around and it is stable it is AMAZING! Anyways back to the story he loves his jumper but he is too tiny to fit in it so we have to put towels on either side so that he will not fall over so here are some cute pictures we caught!

Also here are some great pictures we got of him at his too month mark! he is going up to fast and he looks so much different from when he was born! but he is so darling! ENJOY! Also he has become really drooly, like he blows bubbles in his spit now it is dang cute and funny so in some of these pictures you will see the drool... =)

Jamison's First Holiday and First Baseball game!

This week we had another week of fun filled firsts!!! So this weekend was the 4th of July and we wanted to make it special since it was Jamison's first holiday! so Josh, Jill, Dave, Jamison and myself all got up on saturday ad went to the Murray Parade! we had front row seats and enjoyed the parade! Jamison slept through most of it, but we got alot of taffy and enjoyed the time together! it was so fun i havent been to a parade in the longest time!!! The marching bands didnt even wake him up!!! After the parade at 8 am we all went home for some long nice naps! we then went to dinner at Jill and Dave's house, i mean no one can pass up Dave's BBQ!!! After that we all went to Sugar House Park and watched the firework show with a bunch of old friends!!! it was so great to get together again and for everyone to love and cuddle Jamison! He even stayed awake to the fireworks and watched them with us! It was so FUN!!!

Also this weekend we went to Jamison's First Baseball game!! Let me tell you it is awesome to have a diaper bag because you can sneek in all the goodies to the game under all of the diapers and no one notices!!! lol So we had great seats!!! Dave got us an awesome deal where we were right behind home base and only a couple rows back! so it was a great way to enjoy Jamison's first baseball game! and he was actually awake for the whole game!!! he watched it and loved it!! we even got some big smilies out of him!

Once again i have the most amazing family! i have been blessed with the best most patient husband and the most mellow awesome son i could have ever asked for!!! i am so spoiled!! i love my family to pieces i dont know how i got so lucky to have them!

so this week already has been fun and eventful!!!I am so blessed to have my baby! i couldnt imagine life without him already!!! Jamison and I are so lucky to have Mondays to spend all day with Josh!!!! so this monday we went to the mall to walk around and find Josh some new sunglasses and we found this motorcycle ride for little kids and i couldn't help but take pictures!!! we know he is going to love motorcycles! we start them young!! hhaha so here are some pictures we took.

Then today it is so pretty so Jamison and I went to go swimming for the first time ever and we bought this floating device for him with a shade cover for his face and he loved it!!! we had such a good time! he was smiling like crazy but everytime i went to take a picture of him smiling he would stop, so here are some cute pictures of his first time swimming!!!

Day at the Field & Father's Day

So today Josh has his usual Wednesday Softball games, and it was a gorgeous day to say the least! So we went to his two softball games today and Grandma Anna was down in salt lake today so Jamison got to be held the whole time by her WHAT A TREAT!!! and this allowed me to get some dang cute pictures of him in the mean time! so here are the pictures of him at the softball games! Also we got Jamison a play mat today since he has become more active and he loves it already!

Also last weekend we went up to rexburg to visit the family member that had not been abel to see jamison since he was born, we all went over to Jake and Terressa's house for dinner and to hang out as a family, so here are some great pictures of jamison with his dad, aunt,uncle, and cousin. Lydia loves babies and wanted to give him a kiss and it was to cutest thing i have ever seen!!! We stayed with Mom and Dad and it was so nice to have someone else who wanted to bathe Jamison so i could get some cute pictures, it was also nice to have someone who watched him while i showered, it is great to be able to shower for loneger then 5 minutes and not have to worry about whether he was crying or not! man Grandmas are great!!! Jamison is loved already by some many people! he is going to have a wonderful life full of family and love and laughter!

Hey everyone!! i have decided that we are going to make our blog private, just because we have our little guy now and i dont want creepy people looking at our baby! lol i mean come on havent any of you seen the CSI episode where a lady who is mentally insane looses her son and then finds a family's blog and print out pictures of their son and true thinks that he is hers, she then sees him at a park and calls the cops and tells them that the boys real father kidnapped him and that he is her son and not his.

Anyways long story short... i dont want my baby to be out for everyone to see and steal pictures of and think he is theirs.... creepy!

Plus not to mention alll those people who have kiddie porn on their computers can find my son... think about it gross!!!

Jamison Really Feeding Himself!!!

This is for those of you who didnt believe that he was feeding himself! lol Josh came home from work and it was just about Jamison's feeding time so i asked Josh if he would like to feed him. of course he said yes! so i put him in his arms and gave him the bottle.... and this is what happened when Josh put the bottle in Jamison's mouth! we did not pose him or anything!!! in fact i was at the computer and josh yelled at me to come see this and quick so of course i grab my camera and i came running! lol Jamison cracks me up! we seriously have the best kid ever! we were spoiled with our first that is for sure!!!

So Jamison is the big 3 weeks old today!!! it is so crazy how fast the time has gone! So this week we got Jamison's crib bedding in the mail for him for aunt Judy! and it is so cute! i love it! and Jamison really loves it too because he sleeps in it like a champ!! Now that the baby has been here for 3 weeks Toby has realized that he is not leaving and is warming up to him, as you can tell in the pictures i have my 3 boys and they love lounging together!!

it just warms my heart to see josh and jamison together!!! it is so cute to watch them interact! i truely am blessed beyond words in my life! i mean look at the two! is it not so sweet?? hmmm i am in love! lol it is crazy how much your heart grows with the addition of your own little baby!

12 days old and feeding himself!!!

So after i fed Jamison tonight he was still hungry!!! i think he is going through a growth spurt! so i made bottle and gave it to Josh to feed him, Josh was feeding him and needed to get up for a moment so he placed Jamison on the couch and Jamison believe it or not grabbed the bottle and began to feed himself!!! so naturally we had to record it! so here is the video of 12 day old Jamsion feeding himself!!! we couldnt believe it!!! what a stud!

A Week of First!

So Jamison has been home for a week now and it has been a crazy week at that! First we went to leave the hospital and the carseat we had gotten had to be on a base and couldnt be hooked into the car without it, of course we didnt have the base so i started to cry because we finally had him so close to leaving the hospital, luckily the nurse just told Josh and I to drive carefully and quickly home with Jamison (seeing how we live 3 blocks away from the hospital). So we had to get a new traveling system, thankfully to our surprise my father bought us the cutest travel system! THANKS DADDY!!!

So we had a bunch of family coming and going to see the little squirt! my father stayed with us in our home and it was such a blessing to see my dad bonding and becoming an amazing grandpa i knew he would be!

When we cam home from the hospital Jamison still was on antibiotics for the pneumonia in the bottom of his right lung, we were told that i nurse was going to come and administer the antibiotics to him through his IV, well it turned out that Josh and I had to give Jamison the antibiotics, Josh got really good at it by Wednesday! Wednesday was his last day of meds and when we got up in the morning to give them to him, his IV had clotted so we had to take him to every known place in salt lake to try and get a new IV started, the only place who could do it was Primary Childrens Hospital, i think i cried more that day then any day thus far, Jamison was a trooper i cried more then he did and he was the one getting pricked and everything. So we came home and gave him his antibiotics and the next morning i was able to take him to the pediatrician's office and get it taken out for good!! there they weighed the little guy and he was up to 6 LBS 12.8 OZ!!!! so he has gained 6 almost 7 oz since he was born! (but you cant really telll! lol he is just so little!)

We gave Jamison his first bath and we have found out that he HATES to be naked! what a weird kid i know! lol he just doesnt like to be naked! While we were bathing him and just about finished Jamison began to pee all over Josh's hand!!! i laughed so hard! it was so funny! so we had to re wash him which h didnt like!

We also went to sacrament all together for the first time! it was so fun getting Jamison all ready to go to church granted his church was way way way too big but nothing really fits him right now! i would have never thought that Josh and I would have a Premie but we did and that he would be in Premie clothes as well! lol so we are limited in our outfit selections! lol

Jamison is Here!!!

As many of you guys know, Jamison made his debut on wednesday May 20th 2009 at 10:01 pm! he is a beautiful little boy weighing in at 6 lbs 8 oz and we are so happy and blessed to have him in our life now! it has been a rocky last week, with my high blood pressure sending us to the hospital in the first place on monday and causing me to be induced, as well as Jamison having pneumonia and having to stay in the nursery till sunday morning, we are finally home and we are so happy to be home!

Jamison is a ball of happiness! he is a cuddle bug and our little squisher! i am so happy to be a mom and i cant wait to see how he grows and his personality! Josh is just as excited to be a father as well! we will update more but as for right now we are a little busy.... lol

Quite a Scare!!!

Yesterday evening Jamison gave Josh and I the biggest scare yet of my life! So i was at work doing my usual thing and walking back to my desk from cleaning the back printer room, as i was walking to my desk i felt as though i had wet my pants.... i was like what the heck is that?!?!?!? so i went to the bath room and it wasnt urine. This freaked the crap out of me so i called Josh and told him what happened, he told me to call my doctor, i thought for sure my water had broken! so i called my doctor and he told me i needed to get to the labor and delivery and they will do some tests to find out what is going on.

I was so scared out of my mind! i was shaking driving to the hospital, i know i joke about i want to have the kid now but i was in shock and i changed my mind i wanted him to stay where he was! so i got there and they hooked me up the heart monitor for Jamison and the contraction monitor for me just to see if i was having more then braxton hicks. the nurse then came in and did a bunch of test to see if it truely was my water breaking.

3 hours later come to find out it was not my water and it was just extra fluid being released... they dont know what caused it or why it happened but needless to say i was more then relieved it was not my water!

So we came home and i went straight to bed i was so exhausted from the whole thing! i have never been so nervous in my life! i got a preview a little bit what it might be like when it really happens! but let me tell you for now i am just happy to still have a healthy little boy growing inside of me rather then a 7 week early premie!

32 weeks

So last week we made the trek up to rexburg to visit friends and family for the easter weekend, we had a wonderful time hanging out and enjoying other peoples company! Luckily my dad was up in rexburg picking up my sister from college so i was able to spend time with my dad and sister as well! so it was a double treat for me! Easter was fun we got to see family and watch the little ones do a easter egg hunt! i couldnt help but think that next year Jamison might be old enough to do a mini one of that lol... that is if he is walking and if not he and i can watch the older kids! it is so weird thinking that these traditions and what not that the family has we will actually be really involved with now that we will have Jamison!

So i have a little less then 8 weeks left until Jamison is scheduled to make is earthly debut! but let me tell you i am praying every night that he comes early! lol well the biggest reason is when we were at dad's house for easter weekend i was really itchy and i figured it was just from the 6 dogs that were there, but when we came home i was only getting worse! i had what looks like bug bites on me and i itch on my legs, arms, tummy, lower back and butt. Well it turns out i have something called PUPP it is a skin rash that makes you severely itch and i mean severely!!! it is like having poison ivy!!! the worse part is the doctors dont know what causes it and there is nothing they can give me to take to get rid of it, the only thing that gets rid of it is to have the baby!! so needless to say i am itching to get him out... no pun intended! lol

30 weeks and counting!!!

So from my last post this week has been hard for me! Wednesday night i was having alot of pain where my stomach and lungs are now compacted at... i just figured it was because i ate too much and i wasnt digesting it fast enough. so i wen to bed and prayed the pain would go away by morning, well every-time i would move at night it would shoot pain from the bottom of my uterus through the middle of me and into my chest area. i just tried to sleep it off and in the morning it wasn't gone. i drove to work and the ride to work was horrible every movement shot pain, so i called my sister in law terressa at 9 am hoping she would be up... but of course she is with 4 little ones i dont know why i worried! lol so i talked to her and she talked me into calling my doctor just in case to see what was wrong, so i called the doctors office and i got the on call nurse, who by the way scared the crap out of me!!!, she asked if i had my gallbladder... and i was like yeah. and she was like well it could be a stomach ulcer, in my mind i about freak out! so i am crying because i could have a stomach ulcer and who knows what else could be wrong with me or heaven forbid the baby!!! so she told me to rest and see if the pain goes away. I went home from work and called Dr. Carole (my dad's girlfriend) who i swear knows everything medical! lol and she said it is not a stomach ulcer and probably just the baby is laying funny and pinching a nerve, so i did my best to calm myself and relax hoping the pain would go away with the easiest movement of the baby.
Long story short, he moved and the pain went away.... thank heavens!!! so it has been a hard week this week, i hve had to let myself rely on Josh so much more, i have never had to depend on someone so much for the little things like helping me up from the couch or lifting something that i could have done easily a coupe of weeks ago. This pregnancy has been an extremely humbling experience!!! it has allowed me to truly appreciate everything Josh does for me and it has shown me how much he truly loves me and cares for me!
it is unbelievable that in less then 10 weeks we will meet our little guy and i am so blessed that he is coming into a family where both sides are so supportive and would do anything at a drop of a hat for us! i think lately i have been really down and pessimistic at everything but today i have i guess realized all the blessings i have in my life and instead of thinking how much this sucks and how many things i cant do anymore i am thinking of all the things that the Lord has blessed me with to help me through it all. like the kind strangers who go out of their way to open doors for me in Wal Mart or the kind gentleman at Maceys who helped me load my groceries and took care of my cart for me, or just the sweet text messages randomly during the day for my amazing husband just to say i love you. i am truly blessed around every corner the Lord shows me how much he loves me and my family. so thanks everyone for putting up with my ranting and my shortness lately, i am sorry for it and i am back to myself again lol

Is it horrible of me to want to have the baby now??? so like it just hit me today that i am ready to have this pregnancy be over with. I have loved it up until today, my stomach is as hard as a soccerball and so uncomfortable!! and not to mention that i am so hungry and i can only eat like 2 bites before i get heartburn and i pee all the freaking time. i know i am complaining and i should stop and be blessed to be able to carry him in me for 10 more weeks but i have no desire to continue! it is like i am running a 5 mile race and i am over 3/4ths done but my legs are so tired i want to give up! lol

so if you women know anything that will get my spirits up and rejuvenate me to continue that would be great! lol i mean i found this picture of my body before and durning pregnancy... let me tell you i am feeling the effects finally!

oh and we went to the doctor on Monday and everything is going great, the doctor told me i am measuring about 2 weeks early.so that is exciting!!! so when we go back in a couple weeks if i am still measuring early then they will do an ultrasound the see if it is just me or if the babyis truely two weeks ahead of schedule! so fingers crossed he is ahead of schedule!!!

So things have been really busy in our life lately and so sadly we have not been able to blog. The only new stuff going on in our life other then work and getting ready for the baby is that we reoganized the house. i am really excited about it because we have an actual nursery! so i am so excited to decorate little Jamison's room and get everything set up for him!

so on the baby news, i have to take the hour glucose test on monday, i am so really excited about it because i cant have anything with sugar before the test and my appt is at 1:30 so i have to eat crappy food till then lol and then i have to drink this gross drink an hour before my test and then get blood drawn... not my favorite thing ever! Jamison has been moving like crazy!!! i swear the kid never stops moving! i just get where he is moving to or where my organs are going! lol i am getting quite uncomfortable at night time... i mean i am exhausted but can never get comfty!!! it is a sad thing for me because i love to sleep and it will never be the same!!! lol

as for my belly it is getting too big!!! lol i am running into things all the time and i think more of my food ends up on my belly then in it! lol all my clothes are getting shorter and shorter hahaha even my maternity clothes that i thought would work great dont so well anymore! but i must say it is so exciting to be able to look down and see my belly pop randomly with every kick it makes me smile!

Since it has been really nice outside lately, Josh and I ahve been playing tennis with Jill and Dave again!!! man i missed playing tennis! but it is not the same as last summer! i am pretty much stationary in the middle of the court and josh does alot of the running to get the ball! but it is still fun!

and speaking of Josh... he has been so freaking amazing throughout this whole pregnancy!!! i couldnt have asked for a better husband!!! he is always doing things for me and helping out in ways that i use to never need his help for! like getting up off the couch or he helps roll me out of bed! i really dont think i could have ever done this without him! he is going to be an amazing father and i am getting so excited and anxious for Jamison to meet his daddy and for us to be a family!

What Happens in VEGAS!

So this past weekend Josh and I were able to scoot down to Vegas and see my aunt JoJo and my cousin Jon. It was so fun! We were able to spend quality time and just enjoy each other and laugh ALOT! It makes me so happy to see how well Josh blends into my family! it is crazy how Jon and Josh together act as though they have been friends forever!
We had been talking about going down to vegas for a bit but it was for sure a last minute decision to go visit. We got up at 5am on Saturday and drove the 5 and half hours to vegas to see them! i called my aunt when we were close and she couldnt believe we were so close! she hadnt even gotten dressed! lol so saturday was pretty chill since we did just drive all morning. We went to a buffet of course!! and man they are so good!! Josh was in heaven with the all you can eat shrimp and crab legs! and afterwards we went home and played around as usual!
Sunday morning we got up and i made cinamon rolls and eggs for breakfast and then we were off to walk the strip! the doctor says i need to walk and Josh had never been down there. so we walked from 11am to 4pm!!! i couldnt believe it! we ran into some funny things and laughed so hard at the silly things you will only see in vegas!! like the huge ball necklace that was as big as my baby! lol
i was so excited to take JoJo and Josh to my favorite place in vegas which is the rainforest cafe! it is so cool all the animals move and it looks liek you are in a real rainforest! and every 20 minutes there is a thunderstorm and the lights flicker like lighting and it thunders!!! i love it!!! not to mention the food is really good! lol
But of the whole time the craziest thing we saw was a construction accident!!! we were walking the strip and they are putting in a new casino and what not on there and so they had a section where they were working blocked off so we had to cross the street, as we got on the other side we were watching them lift up a flight of stairs with a crane.... needless to say they didnt bolt the stairs and they went vertical and slid out of the harness and onto a walkway and offices where the construction workers were!!! luckily no one was hurt! and it was crazy to see!!! if they hadnt have blocked off that section of sidewalk we woudl have been right next to it when it happened! so needless to say we thought it was pretty interesting!

So my friend introduced me to this site it is called Routanbabymaker3000.com
on this site you put a picture of you and a picture of your partner and then it will make a virtual baby that is mixed between you and your spouse. So i was like ok yeah right like this will come out good lol and it is amazing how you can change one picture and how different the babies turn out to be! needless to say Josh and I laughed at every picture!!! if our baby comes out looking like any of these it will be sad! lol i will have a troll for a baby! hahahaha there is even one where i chnged josh's picture where he had a tan and the baby came out black!! hahahah so if you need a kick or just are curious you should totally go to this site and see what your baby should look like it is a fun bonding moment lol enjoy our troll children! HAHAHAHAHAAHAHA

23 weeks and counting!!!

So lately i have had a bunch of people asking me to post a new picture of my belly..... well let me tell you from 17 weeks to now it is crazy how big i have gotten! i never thought i was going to ever get this big... i remember when i was 12 weeks and josh and i went to the motherhood maternity store and they had a strap on belly that is the equivalent of 16 weeks... so i strapped it on and i was like no way will i ever be that big! lol well i have surpassed that cute little belly strap on and now i am a blimp!!! lol

i have been having mixed feelings about my new found bigness. lol like i have a hard time getting up from the bed on my own (sad i know) and i have a hard time getting up from sitting period!!! so i have been feeling down about my big belly until last night when we went to see Candace and Troy in Provo. we went to dinner with them and Candace proceeded to tell me that i didnt even look pregnant from behind!!! i was so touch and it was the little lift i needed! now dont get me wrong i am so happy and thrilled and blessed to be pregnant but i dont think there is mother one that has not had a day or two where during their pregnancy they think that they are a heffer!

so here are some updated pictures everyone has been asking for! lol and also here is a picture of my belly that i have always wanted to do ever since i can remember and i am so happy i have a self timer camera and a computer where i can edit the pictures myself!!! saves a ton of money! lol ENJOY!!!

21 week Doctor's appt and ultrasounds!

Yesterday Josh and I had our 21st week doctors appt. this is a big one where they check and make sure he is growing correctly and everything is ok with him. They check his brain, heart, legs, arms, spine, and even to see if he has a clef lip. I didnt even know they could check for that!
Luckily Josh's mom Jodi was in town and we were able to have her come with us for the ultrasound! it was so fun to share this experience with someone that means so much to us!
Jamison is going perfectly! he has ten fingers and ten toes and everything is working correctly in in porportion! i am so happy to hear that! it is like the best thing to hear that your baby is growing perfectly!
to our surpise they gave us a dvd of the ultrasound session and we thought it would just be of the pictures she took but it was of the actual thing! like we got to watch Jamison move all over again and everything! it was so cool! the crazy thing is he is starting to look like a baby! liek you can make out his nose lips and chin on his profile and his legs look like legs, it is still surreal to think i have a baby in me... i dont know if it will really hit me till he is born!

oh and jamison is measuring 2 days early so they changed my due date from the 18th to the 16th of June. not that big of a difference, but it is still exciting! i started the 22nd week today so only 18 more weeks after this one! it is crazy how fast it is going by! but at the same time is dragging slowly!

oh another fun fact is that i feel Jamison moving and kicking! it is a funny feeling, people ask me how it feels and to me it feel like you swallowed a goldfish and it is swimming in your belly. but as of late it feels like popcorn popping. Jamison is only 1 lb. so we will see what those popcorns will feel like latter on!!!

JEFF DUNHAM!!!!

So for our anniversary i got josh tickets to go see Jeff Dunham live here is Salt Lake City. I got him 11th row seats, we were so excited to go!!! when we got to the show we were to early that they had not opened the doors to the Energy Solutions Arena so we went over to Dicks Sporting Goods Store and threw a football around and played until the doors were open. When we got inside we had no idea where we were supose to go we had never had floor seats before... so we went in a portal and literally walked all the way down to the floor of the arena.
Now can you imagine me going up and down those stairs 5 months pregnant and what not. it was like a mountain!!! i sweari felt like i needed to stop half way up! it was ridiculous! lol

Once the show started i was so excited!! the opening act was Guitar Guy (if you havent heard of jeff dunham you need to youtube him!!!) and he was so funny and he is an amazing guitar player! AMAZING!!!! he can play perfectly behind his head!!!

then the show really started with Jeff and Walter! i was laughing so hard throughout the show as he went from Walter to Achmed and then Peanut and Jose Jalepeno on a stick! this was by far the best gift i have ever given josh!
And just to let people know this is not a kids show at all, it has adult themes and ideas, lol in fact we were laughing almost just as hard at the family that brought their 2 daughters they had to be 9 and 5 ish and they kept having them cover their ears like every 5 minutes! lol

Needless to say we had an amazing time and i am so happy i was able to get this present for josh! i dont know how i will one up that gift next year..... i better start thinking now! lol

Trip to Vegas!!!!

A couple weekends ago Josh and I decided we were going to go and visit my aunt and cousins in Vegas just for fun! So saturday after josh got off of work we headed down the long 5 and half hour trip to vegas. we had just gotten out of the salt lake valley and josh started to get really tired! he was nodding off and such so i decided i would drive for a bit. So i took the drivers seat and he was out within 5 mins of starting on the road again! i thought it was so cute so i had to take some pictures!!!

Once we got there we were welcomed by my gracious aunt JoJo!!! she is so sweet to let us crash at her house for a couple of nights! We had chicken and dumplings for dinner and it was amazing! we then got to hang out with Jon my cousin i havent seen in years! and immediately Josh and Jon hit it off! we went to the old town vegas and just had a ball!! josh has never seen the light show so i had to take him to see it! we had a blast going into stores and taking funny pictures! i love the picture of Jon and Josh with their Indiana Jones hats! it was so fun!!!

We took pictures of what i wish i could look like when i have the baby! lol what a wish huh? lol and we cruised the strip and it was amazing! we went to a buffet and i stuffed my face with everything i could put on my plate!! Josh was in heaven with the endless shrimp! lol and Jon was pigging out on cinamon coffee cake! hahaha i miss them already!

We also went to visit my other cousin Russel who was in the hospital, he got hit by a car so he was recouperating from that accident! luckily he is doing wonderful and with a little bit of bridary he is doing his phsyical therapy.

All in all we had a wonderful time! toby loved having friends to play with and i loved seeing my family and enjoying time with them! i cant wait till march when we head back down to see them again!! Josh and Jon got along so well and it is so awesome to me that my cousins like my husband! they are so funny together!!!

I Cant Believe It!!!

Alot has happened since we found out the most wonderful news ever that we are having a baby BOY! Immediately the next day i started looking for baby boy clothes, and if any of you really know me you know i have no patience when it comes to things that excite me!! so i was looking on a site well known here in the salt lake valley called KSL. they have a classified section that i swear i browse daily! so i got on the day after we found out we were having jamison and there was a lady selling what she described and i quote "a HUGE lot of baby boy clothes 0-6 months" for 20.00 so i emailed the lady and asked her how much is a huge lot, and she responded 50 items or so. i thought that was a great deal because they were dang cute and only about .50 cents an item, so i called josh and he said i could go buy them.
So i got in my car and went to the ladies house when i got there she came out with 3 huge garbage bags full of clothes! and said here you go! i was shocked! she even tried to give me a carseat! lol luckily we already have one but i got home and we started going through the bags and i almost cried! this woman gave us over 200 items of clothing many of which still have the tags on them!!! plus to top of this amazing find she added a working baby monitor, a headreast for newborns in the carseat, a diaper bag, and a front carrier!
i washed all the clothes and started to put them away, but i have run out of places to put them so now i have to find a little dresser for jamison! lol we are so blessed to have found such an amazing find! and that lady was so generous!!!

And the Gender Is.....

So yesterday was the day that Josh and I went to the doctor's office to find out the gender of our unborn child! I was about the pass out on the way there! i was so nervous and i felt like i was going to puke, i dont know why i was so nervous but i was. Josh kept telling me dont worry you are having a baby! lol i knew that but i was nervous on what we were having!! everyone wanted us to have a girl but i desperately wanted a boy and so did Josh. We got to the doctors office and within 5 minutes i was laying down with the ultrasound lady gooping that gel stuff on my tummy, i dont think i have ever held Josh's hand that tight before. When our baby showed up on the screen in front of us, it had its back to us and the lady said it might not want us to know... i was like well move it!! lol so the tech started to move the thingy back and forth across my stomach with a little pressure to get the little one to move, and it worked, it rolled over and we were able to get face shots. Josh's first comment was " it loks like an alien!!" lol leave it to Josh to be blunt lol. she then proceeded to show us different parts of the baby, like his hand, arm, leg , and foot. i began it get nervous again when she said lets see what it is, my heart started to pound, as she placed a picture of its cute little bum i began to cry!!! she then said, "It is a BOY!" i was so excited i looked at josh and he had a grin from ear to ear!!! there was definitely no mistaking him for anything but a boy! after the lady left and i wiped the goop off of my stomach i just hugged Josh i couldnt stop smiling! i would have loved the little one if it was a girl but i am so happy and thankful it is a boy!!! We now can call him a "him" and not "it" he has a gender and therefore it is more real and exciting! i cant wait to find clothes for him and decorate his room! yesterday was the most stressful and happy day thus far besides or course our marriage day lol.

Happy Anniversary and 3 1/2 months Pregnant!

So it has been a while since we last blogged! In the last couple of weeks we have been really busy! We went to see lights with family at temple square which was fun and i love christmas time! Also we got to celebrate our first anniversary as a married couple!! It was the best anniversary i could have ever asked for! My most amazing husband out did himself yet again on a special day!!!

First Josh got up way early to go to the store and buy breakfast items to make my favorite breakfast meal! He made me french toast, eggs, sausage, and bacon (which i now love and i use to just tolerate it!) and while he made us breakfast i opened my gifts!
He bought me a dozen roses! ( the first ever!!!!) and a cute sweater i can wear while being pregnant and not because it is stretchy! and two dvds: Look who is talking now ( i love it!) and the family man! both of which are great!!

Then as if that was not enough he told me we had dinner reservations at 4pm, so i got really excited!!! when it came time to leave for dinner he blindfolded me in the car and told me i it was going to be a big surprise! so of course i was excited! i swear we drove all over salt lake county!!! i began to get a little car sick and then he told me we were there. he unblindfolded me andwe were in front of jill and dave's house. So we went inside and it was the most romantic set up! there were candles and sparking cider and the plating of HALIBUT was amazing!!! Josh and i both love Halibut! and because it is so expensive we dont usually get it but it was amazing! Jill and Dave out did themselves when they set this up for us! there was even christmas in the background and everything! i could help but be overwhelmed!!!! Josh set all this up for me and i felt like a million dollars!!!

I have the most amazing man as my husband! i could have picked a better match for me! I am blessed everyday i spend with him!! he makes me love life and i enjoy spending time with him and his sarcasm (even if it irritates me!!)

i honestly could have dreamed of a better anniversary full of relaxation and love! it was better then going out to a restaurant and i was more personal and thought out! oh and in case any of you were wondering what he got for our anniversary i bought him Jeff Dunham tickets 11th row to see him Jan. 22nd in SLC. He was thrilled! we have been wanting to go see him since we got married!

So here is a pregnancy update, i know you all are dying to know! lol So i am in my second trimester and i am finally feeling pregnant! lol i have double in size in just a few weeks! this picture is me sucking in lol. i am about 3 1/2 months along now and we get to find out what we are having on Jan. 5th!! when we went for our 12 week check up everything is growing as should be! and we have a healthy heartbeat of 160, now the old wives tales say that is a girl, but the doctor says it is still 50/50. i ahve yet to have morning sickness, and i am loving being pregnant. I dont really crave anything like " I need this NOW!!!" but i am definitely loving bacon and chicken and sadly french fries! i would say i want at least one a day so i guess that is my craving lol. Josh has been way supportive with him working long holiday hours and coming home tired and sore he asked what he can do for me instead of himself and it amazes me! (dont worry he gets foot rubs and he gets heat packs! lol)
so there is our update for now! we are excited to go up to rexburg and spend christmas up there, i will miss my family as always and i assume i will get emotional because of my hormones! lol but it comes with every holiday for me! lol. so of many of you we will see you very soon!!!

Thanksgiving Week in Portland

So this past week Josh, Michelle, Toby, and myself all made the 11 hour drive to Portland from Salt Lake City. The drive was not too bad i slept the whole time lol. Josh was a trooper and drove most the way! then again he loves to drive!
Once we got there we had such a fun filled week!!! we taught my dad to play Rockband and he loved it! we couldnt believe how much we all enjoyed just playing games together! We go to go to Thai food and i was so excited because that is my favorite food besides lasagna! But i think of everything we did that making thanksgiving dinner together was by far the most exciting and enjoyable time!
As you can tell josh was dressed up in his thanksgiving best and made the mash potatoes the old Compton way with lumps!!! lol
we all had a blast cooking and enjoying the time we had together! when we left i truely was sad to leave my dad! i swear in the last couple of years that we have gotten so much closer and he is one of my best friends and always will be!! it is so nice to be so close to him! he is an amazing person and i cant wait to see him again!

Josh had a blast working on my motorcycle! lol my dad gave him to manual and he went to work! he was so cute how giddy he got when he did all this... too bad we werent there long enough for him to put it all back together. so too bad we have to go back! lol

I went on thanksgiving to get the paper as usual for black friday coupons, when i got out of my car i saw a swarm of ducks coming at me! i swear there was like 50 ducks and they followed me all the way to the front door of albertson's! it was nuts!!!

As you all can tell i am doing a weekly update of how the pregnancy is going. For many of you, you might think wow she is over doing it, but it is our first baby i am a bit overly excited! lol so sorry! =) lol
So it has been exactly 10 weeks today and alot has changed lol. First off i have had the worst cramps ever, but they arent where normal cramps are they right right below my belly button, so i kind of freaked out an called my nurse and she said it is fine and that it is normal, they are stretching pains. (wonderful i know!!!) so the baby has grown from the size of a grape to a kumquat! it is crazy how it triples in size!!! Right now the baby has fingers (not webbed fins anymore) and if we were to take a microscopic picture we would see little fingernails and peach fuzz on its body!!! so it is exciting!!

9 weeks and Toby

This past weekend we went up to rexburg to help jared install some cabinets. On the ride up there i used my coat as a blanket and Toby turned it into his own personal hammock! he cracks me up!!! he is such a funny dog and has such a great personallity! it is so funny to look down and see these posses lol one is where he is sleeping literally!!!!

And here is my 9 week(it is actually 9 weeks and a couple days) photo, it is growing like crazy the baby has double in size once again, it has gone from a grape to a kumquat!!! it is nuts how fast the little one grows!!! so here is the weekly update!!!

So after terressa commented on this post i realized i didnt write anything about the doctors visit lol. So i am sorry everyone lol here is the update. We went to the doctors office on Monday morning. I was really nervous because my most wonderful (sarcasm) brother in laws thought it would be really funny to tell Josh how if we went to the doctor too early to see the baby on a abdominal ultrasound that they would see it vaginally, so i was freaking out. Jared got a huge kick out of this by the way. So we waited for like an hour and a half to see the doctor. My doctor is amazing he is really funny and he just gives off this get vibe like as if he knew us forever. So anyways we went in the room and had the normal stuff done by the nurse before the doctor came in. Now this was not my first ever ultrasound, i had an ultrasound on my gallbladder before so i knew what they were going to do. the goop was freezing as usual, at first we just saw a big black hole. lol Josh asked if that hole was the baby and the doctor kind of laughed as said no, he scrolled in ont he bottom of the hole and pointed to what looked like a peanut and said that is your baby. I couldnt believe it!! it was kind of sereal, i mean i knew we were pregnant but it didnt really hit i guess until i saw that peanut! it was the cutest peanut ever! lol so the doctor started measuring the little guy and it turns out we were 4 days further along then we thought! so that was way exciting!!! so now we are the June 18th and not the 22nd. Then he was like lets listen to the heartbeat, i was shocked i was like you can hear it already??? and he said of course! and so we got to hear the heartbeat, that was the most beautiful thunder sound ever! lol i held back my tears dont worry! that could have been embarassing! lol So now we have ultrasounds of our peanut and i am in love with them! lol i look at them everyday! i cant help it! lol so we have our 12 weeks and 4 days ultrasound on Dec. 8th and then we find out what we are having on Jan. 5th! 4 days before my birthday! so it is like a little birthday gift to me! lol so there is the update i am so sorry i totally forgot to let everyone in on our first baby ultrasound experience! hope you enjoyed! lol

So this last week has been fun! We had our first snow day here which meant Toby's first experience with snow. Let me tell you it was so funny to see him run outside as he normally does and then freak out cuz it was cold and he had no idea what the heck it was! lol so we video taped Toby and decided to post it for you!

Also our dog loves to brush his teeth with a toothbrush. i know it is bizarre but it is so funny to watch him go at it! we have the cleaniest teeth in town!!!! lol Our puppy is so cute! you cant help but love him and all his funny little tricks he does!

So here is the baby update, i am 8 weeks along and we have our first doctors appointment on Monday! We are so excited and we cant wait to see what our little baby looks like. Right now he is the size of a kidney bean and next week he will be a grape. so it is amazing to watch how it doubles in size!! it is such a great feeling knowing i am caring one of God's greatest creations!!!
I havent really had morning sickness much i have had it for about 4 or 5 days total. but those days are miserable! i just have to keep carbs in my stomach and i am good to go. so here is my eight weeks belly. nothing much i know but it is my little fat roll for now! lol it is was makes it hard to fit in some of my pants! lol

BABY STUFF ALREADY!!!

So this past weekend my Aunt JoJo graced me with her presence! We went up to Ogden to put flowers and a new wind chime on my mom and my grandma and grandpa's graves ( JoJo does it every year so i am so lucky to be a part of her tradition now). After we visited the graves we went shopping (my favorite past time!!) i was showing JoJo the crib that Josh and I were saving up to buy for the baby and she sprung out of nowhere that she was going to buy it for us! I was so shocked! i couldnt believe that she was buy this gift for us!! after all she does! Well of course we got it home and handy Josh went right to work on it! when we woke up the next morning it was all finished! i couldnt ask for a better crib! it is cherry wood and it comes with a changing table and a hamper and everything! plus it is a 4 in 1!!! so it can change to a toddler bed ad a day bed and a full bed!!! i am so blessed to have such a wonderful and caring aunt who spoils this little blueberry before it is even born!!!

On that same note, Josh and I received a care package from my dad for halloween! ( he gets in these weird moods sometimes!) I was anxiously awaiting the package knowing darn well there would be moonstruck chocolate in there! Which is by the way the best chocolate in the world!!! it is made locally in Portland. Anyways it finally came!! so as a ripped the box open i found my sweats that i had left there in June i was so happy to see them that i put them on right away!!! and then as a dug through the box we found a little box on halloween moonstruck truffles!! i was so excited to eat them!! to add to this already awesome package my father bought me the movie Baby Mama!!! i was so excited i watched it the next day! (it was late!) i have been wanting that movie since i first saw it will Jill i thought it was so freaking funny and now that i am pregnant it was a way cute gift! and on the bottom of the box wrapped oh so neatly were 5 oneies and they are by far the best oneies in the whole world!!!! they are Harley Davidson ones! My eyes got all teary (it is the baby's fault) and i was grinning from ear to ear! i am so happy for the gifts i got and they make me even more excited to the little one! i cant wait to find out what he or she is! either way they are wearing those oneies with pride!!!

So as most all of you know Josh and I are pregnant, well I am pregnant because of Josh. lol We found out a couple of weeks ago and were planning to tell everyone after our first doctors appointment but a friend of ours kind of by accident let the cat out of the bag a little early so we decided to tell everyone. As of today i am 5 weeks and 5 days along. lol well that is how far along since my last period. So the little guy in my belly is the size of a lentil bean and in two days he will be the size of a blueberry.

We are so excited! we cant wait to start seeing changes and effects in our life! This will be the first grandkid for my amazing father and it will be number 16 for Mom and Dad Thornock.

We are so happy that we are giving this chance to be parents and further our love for each other and this new little life. At first Josh was in denial and required i took 5 pregnancy tests as prove, and a couple weeks ago he got really excited and has finally realized he is going to be a daddy!!!

so we will keep you posted all along the pregnancy! thanks to everyone for the good wishes!

So alot has happened these last few weeks since i last blogged. I went shopping at target trying to find a giant spider to put in our house for halloween, but instead i found Toby a halloween costume, it was so cute i couldnt refuse!!!! and he looks so cute in it too!!! So here is his picture!!!!

And in my quest to find halloween decorations i went to the D.I. i didnt know what time the D.I. opened but i was up at 9 so i got ready and headed over there, well it turns out D.I. opens at 10am. by the time i got ready and over there it was about 5 minutes before 10 so i decided to wait, as i was waiting a crowd started to form in front of the doors. i started laughing so hard i couldnt believe that people were crowding the doors of the freaking DI for heaven sakes!!! so i took and picture and i knew i had to share it with the world!! lol
